	boredom + english class = random crap Got spare money?

... and skywalker = not quite awake, so forgive me if this post seems random or incoherent

Today in english class we had a 10 minute writing thingamajigger where we were supposed to pick some moment when we had a crush on someone and describe that moment. We weren't turning it in or sharing it or anything, it was just an exercise (a prelude to the homework) but I didn't feel like doing it and started writing something sarcastic about the assignment. It ended up as something really weird:

not gonna happen
thoughts are for heads
not for inanimate pieces of paper
MY thoughts
not yours
you can't have them
not one
else
how will I keep any?
one might slip out with the other
onto the paper
where anyone can take it
and each time a thought comes out
surely another will slip through
before the pen leaves the paper
and another
and another
until they ALL are gone
and then where will I be?
thoughtless
you call ME
to keep my thoughts to myself
and yet
you let yours
slip away
