New units and improvements:
C builds Settler, starts next. CX builds Worker, starts next. CA builds Swordsman, starts Spearman. Yes, Spearman, we need to adjust it a bit, because it will grow soon and I want to keep it at size 5 by building a one turn Worker (the growth wouldn't do any good except that we'd have to use the luxury slider).
Workers:
Moritz mines the shielded grassland, it will be the first tile for the new city. Concord irrigates, Max and Mike build road. New Worker goes 333 to GoEP-1, will join CoC next turn to push it to 6 shields and let it join the Swordsman business. Patsy goes 663 to GoEP-4, heads to the hill CoC-8, will mine it, so that the city gets up to 8 shields (just like GoEP). Dennis starts roading, the jungle tile will be ready in 2 turns. Ernest goes 11 to CA-7, will road towards the wilderness to speed up a future settler. A Spearman from CA protects him (the time of barbarian horsemen approaches). To compensate the happiness loss in CA, King Arthur comes from Camelot, which remains unprotected, but is surrounded by protected cities.
Military:
Settler goes 221 to SC-3, will reach the city site next turn. New Swordsman goes to C-2. Sir Kay goes 6, is now 1 tile west of the roading party. CoD built a city "Corinth" to his northeast.
Exploration:
Bedevere goes 4, has now a Monkey Numidian Mercenary to his west (Mazaru the Chimpanzee). Will reach his lookout hill next turn. Launcelot goes 7, reaches the sea, but sees nothing but water. Will return home now, along the west coast.
Diplomacy:
A message to CoD is due, will send it this evening, look for it in the foreign advisor thread.
Economy:
Lots of laborer switches to optimize production.
Finances and research:
175 gold, +44/turn at 10.0.0. Construction in 36 turns with 1 scientist.
