How to Decide Consuls? Support Apolyton

I was looking at the elections and then it hit me. There are two ways to count up the votes. It's either count up ALL the votes for a candidate or count only some votes. What I mean by that is let's say Togas has 7 votes for the option 4; this happens to be the highest. He would then win that option and everyone else had to run for the 3rd option and so on. What should we do?

That sounds like it would create more confusion. I think Big Free's idea of counting option 4 as 4 votes, 3 as votes, etc. and adding them all up is the way to go.

But however you guys want to do it is fine. The bottomline is whomever the three are we will have some great counsels right out of the box.

Yes - a 4 vote is worth 4, a 3 worth 3, etc. That is what the term 'weighting' refers to.

So as a summary - the votes as of Jan 07 (10am est) are as follows:

Oct X (22 voters)

4x8=32
3x4=12
2x8=16
1x2=2

Total = 62 votes.

conmcb25 (21 voters)

4x8=32
3x7=21
2x2=4
1x4=4

Total = 61 votes

Klo (22 voters)

4x2=8
3x3=9
2x7=14
1x10=10

Total = 41 votes

Togas (21 voters)

4x5=20
3x8=24
2x4=8
1x4=4

Total = 56 votes

I can update this if folks want.
