This would be great and something I proposed in another thread. We prebuild ICBMs in several cities and once we get the tech, WHAMO! There goes Imperial City, Neu Theben, and Legopolis!

Of course, we'd need to obtain the tech and USE IT before we got nuked ourselves... that'd be the trick.

I'd really like to get horses from someone, though. Last night I studied the vox map to see if they might have two, but to no avail. We need either GoW, ND, or Lego to sell us horses. GPT is fine.

How about we shoot out some PMs to those three nations to see if anyone is willing to sell us horses?

Question then is when we need them. It's not worth getting the horses until the point at which we NEED them for building whatever we're building (do Conquistadores indeed require horses? I forget, since explorers do not).

Once we've built the improvements we need before a military buildup, then getting our hands on some horses (if needed) would be nice. I'd prefer not to waste any told we don't HAVE to on ND, GoW, and Lego, however.

Just curious, what is everyone else researching right now, do we have any idea? We need to get a general timetable of a) any attack on Lego B) when Lego may possibly have a significant rail network down. I also agree we should pursue the possibility of getting some horses.

Right now San Antonio is 4 turns from a Marketplace. Our plan has been to build Markets and Banks in all of the cities so I have stuck to that agenda.

Sent 120g + 5gpt (total of 220g) to Vox. Unaccepted. Our 4gpt deal ends after next turn, so this will ultimately just raise the cost to 5gpt and it will continue the myth that we're a poor poor nation.

We are actually at 609g and making 38gpt.

Spoke with Rhoth of Vox. They noticed that the 4gpt deal wasn't going away like it was supposed to so they canceled it, but it canceled our 5gpt deal too :/

Anyhow, we need to reoffer them 5gpt next turn.

He's also going to consider selling us horses

I negotiated a deal with Rhoth of Vox to buy horses for 5gpt. Offered them 5gpt this turn, they will send horses next turn.

Our barracks in El Paso will be done next turn, so that it can begin building horsemen.

Within 3 turns all of our markets will be done, and we can get to building horsemen, caravels, and more horsemen.

When we get navigation in 18 turns we mass upgrade and then try to find some use for our new Conquistadors.

San Diego finishes Marketplace. Begin work on Harbor. San Diego is at 0fpt and needs to be able to use the coastal tiles to feed itself and support growth.

I noticed that we're giving Vox 10gpt. It seems that the mistake we previously thought occured did not.

We are giving GS 30gpt.
We are giving Vox 5gpt + 5gpt

HOWEVER our F1 screen shows us giving 45gpt to other civs!! I cannot figure this out. I reviewed the dipomacy screens of all of the other civs and we're not giving GPT to anyone .... however, it does show us giving silks to GoW for peace. And we, obviously, have no silks.

We are currently making 124gpt. With current expenses (including that 45gpt!) we lose 93.
