Workers at Izz-8 road, and Burundy-1 mine.
Burundy switched to galley
Archer moves 1 onto mountains
FP moves back onto mountains
N. Scout moves 6,6
Southernmost jungle warrior moves south and sees vet NM (Mazaru the Chimp)
Other two jungle warriors head for Corinth
Cannot yet tell where 4 shields from the 2 conscripts could be handy, or what we'll do with the galley (opinion seems divided between war and immediate exploration)
We enter republic next turn. I'll hold the save when we get it.

Heh.
Cort, sorry I must've missed this, but how do you know we will come out of anarchy next turn? Does PBEM tell you when you revolt?? If so, wow, cool.
Re: the galley issue...
A second galley would of course be nice, I agree. But I'm not sure our economy can handle the unit upgrades, rushing the galley, AND researching (we do need to research HBR, and if we want to avoid falling behind Python, we need to research Polytheism fast enough to coincide with their discovery of Construction). Secondly, even if we can afford 2 galleys, I honestly would recommend tasking both of them to the war effort. 1-on-1 galley combat (as in the case of 1 of our galleys trying to prevent a Monkey escape) is a very dicey proposition. 2 of ours versus 1 of theirs, however, gives us high odds of success.
As much as I happen to dislike the coming war, it's coming, and I think it's gotta be top priority, even trumping naval exploration. Once it's over, by all means, we should send out ships and try to find the other civs. But we will have a real problem on our hands if the Monkeys escape. Imagine if they could find a 1-tile island!
Re: the conscript warriors...
Well, if we cannot find a good use for the shields, and we do have the ability to rush a second galley, and you both disagree with me on the use for our galleys (in that you guys prefer to split them, with one tasked to exploration), then I agree a good use for 1 of the conscripts would be to sail forth on a galley.

In respect of the galleys, why not build 2 of them and send them SW, the 1st one with a scout/explorer and the second one with 2 swords.
The second one drops the 2 swords on the 1st turn of war, then patrols the coast.
The first one goes a bit exploring. If it finds some islands, it can drop its cargo and wait in ambush. If it's only deep ocean, it can join the 2nd as to give us better odds. Since the 2nd one will attack first, chances are good that we won't lose its human cargo.
