	Suffering from ads?

I've only played in three games so far. And I lost one and the other two have sort of died out.....

Currently i'm only in Alien Dip and Civ Dip.

Speaking of which, i'm gonna try and find Boshko's phone number see if I can find out if he's ok...

Since I will GM this game, I herwith rule that Napoleon can join this game and is - for the purposes of this game - considered a newbie.

We still need two people. Anyone? I think you don´t have to be a total newbie. Anyone who could use a little practice and who´s not already known as a very good player...

So... Sahib: how are you planning to manage this game? through an existing website, one you've created in the past, one you're about to create, Apolyton? If you are planning on something you already have, please let me know and post its address... I'ld like to see it :-)

Usually results are posted here, on Apolyton. Most of the time someone better with maps then myself would make a map and post it either here or on some web site. However I can send diplo maps, np. And if soemone explains to me how I can build a website and post such maps, I am willing to do so

So, this would be how the game is run:

1) All communication with the GM is via email. ICQ messages might be read by me, but there´s no guarantee.

2) Preliminary moves are not only welcome but strongly encouraged.

3) Classic diplomacy rules apply. So do the classic english country abbreviations. Additionally, I require that whenever a player supports or convois a foreign unit, that unit´s country must be clearly stated. Example for a french order to convoi an english unit:

F ENG C english A Lon - Bel

4) There will be no grace period. A player who does not submit moves within the deadline is declared NMR, his units are set on hold.

5) Any player who NMRs thrice will be replaced.

6) No conditional moves are allowed.

7) The game is considered an Apolyton Diplomacy Club game. Therefor all NMRs and the final results are counted against your ADC ranking.

8) Should disagreement arise over any GM decisions, an appeal can be sent to the ADC president. IIRC that is Lordstone1.

9) Everybody is to have fun.

First of all: why do I need to say who's unit is is? AFAIK the game, if I want to support, say, the Ecnglish Channel's attack on London, I should just write "Lvl sup Ech"...

Secondly - I can create a website for you, but as for map making and submitting... if you want me to do that - we will need to change the moves submittion date to Thurseday, leaving me 2 days to collect the moves and update the map, uploading it.
Also, that would also be problematic if I have some sort of technical problem, such as, ISP crash or something...

Mmmmm... about the map: If you are using a white font for the units, what will you do when someone have a unit over a neutral province (also white)? and how do I know which units belongs to whom?

I have made up a map (the same map, just looks better...) if you want I can send it to you..
