cant install Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

An installation support file
'C:\Docume~1\Tussu\Locals~1\Temp\{F31BC49F-AB7B-4A53-A399-EB7331B585BC}\Conquests.dat'
could not be installed

Catastophic failure


What should i do ?
how can i open the cab file on the cd, so i can manually copy this dat file ??

is the CD damaged/scratched?

(obvious i know, but it happened to me b4, not civ tho)

WinRAR can open cab files btw

i can't see any scratches, but since winrar can't open those cab files ergo the cd is damaged... thanks anyway
