And finally Iroquois as they have excellent traits for fast growth and REXing as well as having a powerful and mobile UU. The only downside is that we need horses.

Because, like Greece and Carthage, they don't require any resources for their UU. It's a 2-2-1 (Babylonian Archer) with the enslave ability. 'Enslave' gives your unit a 1/3 chance to 'capture' another teams unit after a battle that you win and turning him into a captured 'worker' instead of killing him outright. The unit only costs 20 shileds. You combine that with the fact that the Maynas are Industrious (Workers work faster) and Agricultural (city squares produce 1 extra food and deserts are treated as plains) and then you hav a very powerful set of traits to go along with a very nice UU.
