	UnO's first Proposal: Grand Alliance against the Fog Enter the AD-FREE zone

I hereby propose that we form a grand alliance against the Fog.

If all are agreed, I will PM the neccessary parties ASAP.

Essentially, we approach each team with the following proposal:

STEP 1:
We wish to trade maps straight up map for map, in addition we will be contacting all other known teams with a like deal. In fairness to all concerned, and as an act of convenience to our fellow teams, we hereby will also gift any new map info received from the other teams so that no one team will be getting a 'better map' from us than any of the others.

Our goal on this will be to reveal as much fog for all of us as possible that we may all mutually benefit.

STEP 2, if needed:

A coordinated effort on the part of all teams to actively remove any further black from the continental map, coordinated to occur in the quickest manner possible. IE, who could get the scout there quickest did.

STEP 3, unlikely:

With the upcomming new era, Barbarians could become problematic. If desired, a coordinated effort to remove all fog that barbarian encampments and uprisings A: could not occur, or B: occurred only in areas that the agreeing teams would desire. With three teams moving to maximize the area of fog, we should be capable of managing where and how the barbs pop.

I agree with UnO. It will not hurt us to trade as our area has already been explored by other teams up to our border before the recent expansion as well as to our north. Much of our area will get traded around anyway so we might as well get in on the trading and actively pursue other nation's maps.

I agree that a four way map deal would be good - especially as we wouldn't be showing much that MAST's map will show anyways, plus we would get the map info of the other civs.

I did discuss a 3 way map deal with Togas of Sunshine and he seemed very agreeable with it (and would probably be very very interested if LL joined in) , but to my knowledge we haven't discussed it with MAST or LL yet.

Arnelos told me in a chat that MAST was leaning in favor towards it.

More importantly, he told me that Master Zen and LL liked the idea.

Good question. For all MAST's talk of being scared of Legions, they do seem to cooperate closely.

Well, the way they seem to fall all over us wanting an alliance, you HAVE to assume they are doing the same to all teams.

I found it a bit odd that the two had discussed it between themselves, frankly. I smell alliance.

So, where are we at.

From what I hear all teams have agreed at some point.

Where is the save? When do we get it next, I'll try to get with all the other teams before then.

We already made the exchange; all three other civs sent us their maps and while we had nothing signed, we agreed we should just go forward and do it informally since the team liked the plan.

Sorry for not making a bigger deal out of that, I did mention in the latest turn report that we got MAST's map of pretty much everything because they sent it accepted. (You can get the latest save from the latest turn report BTW, and we can also ask CoD to add you to the e-mail list if you want.)

Newest save just arrived, and we now have LL and Sunshine's maps (though not a lot of new stuff was revealed; LL has been exploring the other island near the one we're settling, so they have a galley in the water). Here's the save.
