Welcome again Gladiator fans to the continued coverage of round A of the semifinals between Jamski-San and Lord Drogue of Antonie.

We now go down to the floor to our commentator, Skanky. What is your opinion of the action so far?

"Looks like Lord Drogue has the upper hand. A few more hits on Jamski-San and he will go down. Once JS is down, then Drogue will win. The odds are currently 2:1 that Jamski's sheep will be one lonely critter."

The contestants start the familiar circle of death and Jamski is not moving all to well. He is definately favoring his left side quite a bit. Drogue on the other hand is no worse for the wear; the facial bleeding has almost stopped completely.

Jamski drops his shield and starts toward Drogue with a series of spins. He fakes a blow and Drogue raises his shield to block the fake. Jamski reversed his direction and slices downward on the back of Drogue's right knee, delivering a nastly gash which almost drops Drogue.

While Drogue was regaining his balance, Jamski retreated for his shield. As Jamski, reached for his shield, Drogue regained his composure and charged into Jamski hard, raising his sword high above his head and bringing it down on Jamski back, again on the left side, exposing bone and tissue and a stream of crimson.

Both combatants back away for the third strike. Jamski looks at Drogue, and Drogue looks at Jamski, and they both bow to each other as no attacks were offered in this third round. what do you make of the action, Skanky!"

"Sh.. Do you know, Eh, What the fuu.... Exactly! {burp}"

(Jamski has 39 points remaining, Drogue has 60 points remaining).

Have we got another exiting bout for you today with the top seed in the tournament, The Doctor against The Princess in round B of the Semifinals. We appologize for the delay in getting this one started, but apparently The Doctor was away at a medical conference that could not be missed. Now down to Skanky.

"Currently the odds are 5:3 for the Doctor due to his strong showing in the preliminaries. I still like the Princess' chances as she is one tough customer to have made it this far. I'm pretty sure that we will know who the winner is when the bout is over."

The Doctor and The Princess step into the ring and at once it is fairly obvious that The Doctor has an unusual style. He carries no weapon and uses his hands, feet, and shield to inflict damage on his opponents.

The combatants start circling each other looking for an opening. The Princess lead off with a vicious swing at The Doctor which he easily blocks with his shield. He offers no rebuttal on the attack front.

The Princess looks a little stunned that she did not find her mark and spins and deals a deft blow to the right kneecap of The Doctor who might have been a little overconfident in the attmpt to block the blow. However, it is now apparent that he had no intention of blocking the blow as he drives the point of his shield into the midsection of The Princess.

Both contestants back off from each other in a defensive posture and offer no aggressive forms of attack.

Niether contestant took much damage in that round; The Doctor's knee is only slightly bruised with a small trickle of blood, and The Princess' midsection does not show any damage, but I'm sure that there are some bruised ribs from The Doctor's blow.

(The Doctor has 90 points remaining, and The Princess has 88 points remaining).

Oooh, a close match! Princess goes for power first and attack second and defense third. The Doctor goes for defense first and third, and attack in the middle. If Princess had managed to get her first to hit, maybe she'd be well in the lead.

Wow I've not been behind before. It should bring an even higher standard from me.

On the orders front I may be able to do them later. If not I have a 16 hour journey back from my 'medical conference' tomorrow. After that service will resume as normal.

True, but with a 21 point lead and only 39 to go, it would involve quite a mistake to lose. I'm not safe enough to try to leave you on one (and give you another go at killing me) though
