But why don't those that send the save POST that they SENT (OPD and E_T) the save? Is it that much trouble to let others know what's going on? Don't you want a good relationship here? Don't you know that communication is the secret to every good relationship?

I try to post in here as much as possible, but MY time is very limited.

I can understand, you letting us know if the save stops for SEVERAL days, but I also found it a bit disconcerting that you had done that.

Just in case anyone thinks Bigfree is complaining for the sake of it, some numbers as of May 9th:

Game#1: .95TurnsPerDay- all four players post turns regularly
Game#2: .24TPD- 3 players posting regularly, 1 semi-regularly
Game#3: .68TPD- 2 posting regularly, 1 occasionally
Game#4: .58TPD- 2 posting regularly, 1 occasionally
Game#5: .19TPD- 1 posting occasionally.

It isn't the only factor, but the pattern was consistant (except game 2 where GF effectively dropped out) in both tournaments when I checked.

Not that it really matters here, it doesn't look like this will see the second round. Not enough patronization, I say!

actually thought it was part of the tournament rules that we all agreed to that we were to post when we play, and the year that was forwarded to the next person.

ahh it is all good

I reckon we will get to a 2nd round.

Those who do not want to play can bow out, let their civs be torn down into rubble by one of the Tournament Administrators. There are ruins all over this planet from lost civilizations. I do not see why that should not happen in the Tournaments as well.

Hey, do what you want. Characterise my PM as whatever you wish. It was my attempt at getting this game moving and getting the players to post they they sent the turn. If you have a problem with someone saying "hey, you got the save?" then get out of the PBEM business now.

Nothing was agreed to in this tournament except that turn posts are a good idea. It's in the rules for the Iron Civer because of experiences with this one...

I didn't mean to imply that this game wouldn't finish, but #s 2 and 5 have stopped multiple times and haven't moved in weeks.

Do not mistake this situation for something that it is not, it should be noted that I didn't have to take over Korea when I did and I don't consider myself to be under any obligation to play the save when I recieve it.
Taking over a game which is already developed is never ideal especially a forbodding one such as this.

Even when I do not want to, I still play the save as soon as I can and I've played enough pbems, including 2 DG's, for you to be able to assume that the save will be played
