We're agreed on Plymouth 112 for the settler, right? Plymouth's spear can be escort & garrison.
The next build for Izz is a catapult, followed by a worker, then settler. After that (or after another cycle of settler-cat-worker, or after two, whatever) we can ponder switching over to the following:
(starting the turn a settler is complete):
1) Size 5, 10f, 0s. Begin barracks.
2) 15f, 10s.
3) Size 6, 10f, 20s (roughly).
4) 15f, 30s.
5) Size 7, barracks complete. Worker.
6) worker complete (1), size 6, 10f. another worker.
7) 15f, worker complete (2), size 5, 15f. Another worker.
8) Size 6, worker complete (3), size5, 10f. Order Horseman.
9) 15f, 10s.
10) Size 6, 20s.
11) 15f, horse complete. Order worker.
12) Size 7, worker complete (4), size6. Another worker.
13) 15f, worker complete (5), size5. Another worker.
14) Size 6, worker complete (6), size5. Order horseman.
A variant of this can be done with spearmen instead of horsemen. Obviously there will be more spears produced since they are 2/3 the cost of the horsemen. Or it could do a variant where it builds warriors for upgrade instead. Or a mixture thereof. The warrior thing could be interesting once we get past the initial upgrade hurdle... extra sword reinforcements might be needed, and Python might want to give us iron again for that purpose, allow them to build warriors again while not physically cutting their iron supply.
Depending on how the war goes, doing this or something like it could free up Swindon and/or Silesia to build marketplaces and libraries instead of just units.
