40 turns of fur for demo is a good price, if you ask me. But let them ask for something before mentioning it ourselves.
Erhm... CH, it's Bolderberg, not burg... I used to live there for over 20 years
If RP doesn't build Magellan, we might need to do it, yes. we should make a (joint) decision here quickly, to not risk losing prebuilds, or the wonder itself. Personally, I would rather have it in RP's hands, for the simple reason that no-one will expect them to start invasions, while they might be scared of us if we go more naval. OTOH, we don't have much navy left, and it might trick others in thinking we focus on naval activities a lot.

Start
Accept spices-furs deal with ND.
Accept RP's 20gpt and WM
On reflection, we can't open another trade with ND this turn - only one trade per turn works in PBEM, I think.
Also, the newly traded lux doesn't count for happies in the shield phase and we lose the WLTK in Eliopolis, leaving it a shield short of temple in 2. Damn. Never mind, Inchon will get some extra shields next turn.
EotS builds Uni, starts temple.
Scoll through to BB and adjust so it can complete mkt.
Cyclone builds worker, starts worker.
BB completes mkt, starts temple - could be lib, bank, prebuild for Magellan ...
Tempest completes Temple, starts Cathedral
Moves & MM
GoW's galley has withdrawn to Port Isol-9
Coast is literally clear for NE pike and MI on Forest to withdraw. Other units shuffle south.
One galley near Port Isol heads clockwise, rest shuffle clockwise a place.
Rest of Northern galleys move towards forming a shield around San Diego.
Southern sea galleys continue homewards - one will disband in Typhoon to push the aqua.
Worker nr santa Barbara irrigates
WoC only needs 2s for templ, so grass irrigated for extra 2 food and growth this turn. It's fun MMing cities with workers!
Decided against irrigating Diss for now - it only complicates things and probably won't help much.
Started 2 workers on a fortress on Inchon's Iron.
Moved 4 wrks nr Santa Ana north
Moved 5 souther workers to forest for chop when Sufa's aqua is finished.
Disbanded galley in Inchoff - aqua in 19 turns
MM'd OG & Tempest to get Tempest back to 21 spt for possible Newton's prebuild (via cath, bank)
Changed Sandtorm for a settler next turn.
Banking in 3 turns, +13 gpt.

Oh my, would that ever suck (flippage).
RP should have a major flip chance advantage over there, though, because their capital is very close, whereas Imperial City is rather far.
Good job with the turn, Cort. The screenshots always amuse me - we have such an odd mix of units (warriors, spears, pikes, knights, war chariots, catapults... all next to each other on the sea wall).
The powergraph is depressing, though.

Great job with the turn.
Love those quick turn around times. b I just wish the rest of the world would do the same. it will be june before we get steam, at this rate.
re: flipping
Our treaty with vox guarantees the immediate return of flipping city, so hopefully the damage would be minimized.
