Downloading New Scenarios - Help! Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

Hey guys and gals out there. I've been looking for some new scenarios for Civ2 (Gold Edition), and stumbled upon Scenario League. I downloaded a couple that looked interesting, then extracted them from their zipped files to my CIV2 folder on C-drive. However when I tried to play them I received the error message "Unable to load file; file is not saved game." Am I doing something wrong here? If anyone could walk me through how to unzip, install and play these ".scn"s, I would be eternally grateful! Thanks.

OK, first make sure you unzip the scenarios into your scenario folder. Make sure you have the correct version of Civ2 to play the scenario (MGE plays most of them). Then load up Civ2 and click "begin scenario", find the scenario file and double-click to play.

Yes, unzip them in a scenario folder. If you haven't got any, create a folder called 'scenario' under the main directory of civ2.

Unzip each scenario in a different folder

See spanish.apolyton.net for more civ2 scens
