My vote is for Chairman Voltaire. He acts the least rash and therefor is IMO the person most qualified for this job. Also he is quite experienced in this job, already doing it for half a century

I only hope he still works as if he had to prove himself. History shows that power, held for a long time by the same person, leads to stagnation...

OK,

I'm back, and it looks like the voting is over, but as an active member of the Hive I give my full support to Voltaire.

I really have no idea why we would want a change. There is nothing he has done while I was here, or that I am aware of, that would cause me to consider changing him at this time.

Under executive orders until we have a formal written constitution, or until governmental appointments officially take place, I request that no formal ambassadors to any faction be appointed. Though for all intensive purposes Jamski may act as ambassador from the Hive for the Hive provisional government; he will for the time being be invested with full ambassadorial powers, and responsibilities (in that the best interests of the Hive must be considered and all communications with the CyCon are to be reported back to the People of the Human Hive). Also to respond to the inquiry regarding polling, I have no objection to people lead initiatives in terms of advising the provisional government in consolidating a new constitution, but given that I have been invested with the powers of the office of Chairman I will exercise those powers in full and do not see the point of dragging the Hive down into pointless procedural polls, we can have as many of those we want as soon as the new constitution is ratified (which will be in the few coming weeks as I get it typed up).
