There's some good thinking in there but I think she's off a bit. I really don't think that there's any slackening of male libido (pretty hard to accomplish that), its just that a lot of men are weenies who don't have either the balls or don't make the effort to ask enough girls out, after all porn will never doesn't require you to make any effort or risk getting your feelings hurt or have your self-confidence undermined. As in, "**** it, there's a 95% chance I'll get turned down anyway and that sucks, I'll go home and jack off" not "I don't want to have sex with you, I'm going to go home and jack off while thinking about sex instead!"

Some of Pekkes post-date comments on his date thread seem eerily in line with what Wolf says though.

She's right about one thing though, IT will eventually have this effect. I can think of plenty of people who would prefer virtual sex to the real thing.

Nah.. I totally stand by my words when I say that random sex with strangers is usually poorer. It takes two to tango naturally, and I'm nto saying it's BAD, it's ok or good, but it can be also boring. I didn't say porn rules, I said sex is overrated. There's a difference there.
Good sex should be fulfilling both ways, and about other things too to make it GREAT. And for that, there needs to be feelings. I don't know how this is saying I'd rather do it myself. I'd rather have GREAT sex, I just need a partner to do it who I care for and who cares for me.

Porn is good for my libido - masturbation increases it. Sex isn't. It exhausts it.
