Big news indeed, but not something we didn't know already, is it?

It is no longer that important for Bush to find the WMD. It would be a pleasant bonus of course, but it's not necessary. The number of inspectors have been (or will be) decreased anyway, and that alone shows us that apparently it's not a top priority anymore.

Yep a war for fictitious reasons, and I'm repeating myself here, but it's really not something we didn't know already!

The wmd claims remind me of the way Hitler always claimed little countries had attacked Germany just about an hour before the unprovoked surprise attack was launched.

It's also just like the Gulf of Tonkin incident in which North Vietnam was claimed to have fired on US navy ships. The U.S. used this to justify intervention in Vietnam. It never happened.

Oh well - they are paying for it now. The whole war is a just a big pack of lies.

It was absolutely beautiful watching those ****sucking liars squirm and backpedal, especially since Kay was Bush's handpicked guy and advocated "regime change" as much as the Bush cabal.

What's frightening is that they may not pay for it. If this happens then I will no longer support democracy as it would be plain that it doesn't work.

Two points:

1) Bush's critics constantly distort and change what he actually said.

2) A lie is when someone says something that is not true but at the time he says it he knows it is not true.

In my observation, the critics of Bush equate the absence of WMD with lying without demonstrating that Bush knew at the time he made the statements that they were false.
