800 BC turn played

Sir, our historians agree, we have entered a distinctly new age in our development.
Great, let's play the game.
We picked up Engineering as our free tech. Set to research Monotheism.
Rationale: With our hoplites Feudalism is less important to us and Mono fits with our happy disposition.
The people admire us so much they offer to expand the palace.
I picked the main door to cover up that big rock.

Happy Hills builds warrior. Named Nick. On his way to Suntanland.
Comet moved W to attack barb horsemen. Lost 0 HPs.
Standbridge moved to the mountain N of Happy Hills.
Gary moved W.
Bro moved SW.
Nova moved S.
Zues moved NE.
Ralph moved N.
Jack Handy and Mr. Peabody both finished roads.
The settler has joined Barry. Both will move out next turn to the hill site next to the fur.

Sliders set to 90% science, 10% tax.
Treasury at 165 gold, -1 gpt. Mono in 30 turns.

I have a pic of our cities but no space to upload it.

Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

There's a warrior in Sunshina that needs a name. Call him "Timmy"

Mil Advisor says that we are WEAK to Tabemono and Latin Lover, but we are STRONG to MAST. How odd is that?

For future planning purposes, we really need to shift more workers to our luxury projects in the north (two mountains and two hills to road) and south, and we need to turn Happy Hills into another military production town, which means adding a barracks and getting it to 5spt. Right now only Las Vegas seems to be making mil units for us.

I can't decide if we should build a city one tile SE of where the settler is now, as I have it in the planning thread, or just move forward to the hills to the SE of the furs and build that one first. We don't have any settlers queued up right now (probably next one will be after horseman in Sunshina) so it'll still be a while, however, with the roads not in place yet, it doesn't do us much good to have a city there with no way to get the furs to the rest of our people.

Given that, I'd say we build the plains city first, let the workers get going on the road, and by the time the road is complete our second settler will be ready to be built next to the furs.

oh, and I took this image after doing HarryH's moves:
