Anyone have anything to say? The war went on so long that I can't remember exactly what was going on at the beginning.

We could mention how we erred and allowed them south early on in the war....hmm. something to ponder. I think Theseus and/arrian should take the lead, as they were extremely active the whole time.

Short story: They offered us a 30 turn NAP then, which we sadly and needlessly agreed to, even without any compensation. A smart move (from GoW), as our stance back then was "We won't break treaties" (although we didn't have any qualms to bend them), so they were safe. I agree with Aggie, that a GS invasion in eastern GoW land would have taken the steam out of their aggression, although I'm pretty sure RP would have been crushed by ND alone too, because we in that case wouldn't have had the power to help them in the south.

I won't respond to Aggies post, though, and would strongly advise the same to everyone here. I sense another flamefest coming.

Ditto. So long as the nature of the discussion is akin to discussing an AU game (analysis of what happened, from different perspectives) and is good-natured, I'm game. If it gets personal, I'm outta there.
