Now, I know it is certainly not in my best interest to say what I am about to say, but let no one accuse me of being unfair- why does France have 5 units? France has 6 SC. I though this was simply a mistake being made on the map (for a second time), but I only saw orders for 5 units as well. Something somewere is missing.

This one missing French unit goes back a while- beyond 2007. Now, I have no clue why france has not picked this up earlier (wouldn't one notice being one army short in this game???)

What is the solution folks? How is this mistake made up?

And my last word on this- certainly one more French unit is a great disadvantage to myself, but we can;t continue the game with such a glaring mistake.

I found the problem folks:

In spring 2007, France ended that turn with an army in Switzerland

IN Fall 2007 no orders were given for that army, which would mean a hold, BUT

In spring 2008 A mar moved into A Swiss without problems, and then A Lyon moved into Mar Fall 2008.

France's army in Switzerland vanished from the map basically. Now, this means the order to move into Swi was invalid, as was the order to move into Mar from lyons.

In the end, this mistake did not affect any sigifcant moves in 2008, but we should put a french army in Lyons, and make sure this does not happen again... also, this is the last time I will check up on any mistakes that are misadventageous for me..next time people better keep track of their armies, cause I will not point things oput if it were in my best interest to ignore them.

GePap, not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but maintaining the integrity of the game is good for all, so I'd hope you'd continue to note errors in your favor as well as against. I know I've done the same for others before when I was paying more attention; it's a good habit.

In anycase, yes, oops (although I'd like to point out that the map didn't show my army, which it should have... but whatever). I DID think something was funny, but just didn't check carefully enough. Normally I'd say that a build is the proper way to remedy such a mistake, but since GePap seems to have found exactly which unit went missing, I wouldn't be opposed to getting back the unit that dissapeared (plus, that way the mistake doesn't actually help me by allowing to rebuild a fleet). I'll leave that up to Boshko.
