In the evening, Skanky's bar was almost empty. Indeed, there was little reason to celebrate. The people were depressed. The pub owner himself wasn't too busy either. He was just serving the ale to a couple of visitors at the bar, and polishing the bar itself with a piece of cloth.
That's when Jonny rushed into the pub. His eyes were huge and round, and he was trembling visibly. Jonny ran up to the bar, and grabbed Skanky. The chandler pulled Skanky close to himself and shouted right in the man's face:
"They are out to get me! It's happened again!"
"What ... First, let go of me! Now, what happened again?"
"They... He's... COME ON! I'll show you!"
"I'm not going anywhere until you explain what happened"
"I told you already! They killed him! AGAIN!"
"Who killed who again?"
"GOD, I don't KNOW! SOMEBODY killed him. He's as dead as could be, and I found him."
"WHO!"
"ME! I found him!"
"I mean, who did you find?"
"How many times can I tell you? Are you drunk? I said: somebody killed CapitanGarlic, and I found him. Dead. In his shop. Just now."
"At two o'clock in the morning?" - asked Skanky, glancing at his watch.
"YES! Come on, we need to help him! Maybe he's still alive!"
"Wait, you just said he's as dead as could be... I think you may have taken some of those drugs out of his shop before you got out... What's that just under your nose, BTW?"
Jonny wiped his face quickly with the sleeve of his shirt - "I don't know what the hell you are talking about. The guy is lying there, bleeding, and you are here being sarcastic."
"Okay, let's go. Maybe we can, indeed, still help him..."

As Skanky entered the apothecary's shop, he saw CapitanGarlic sitting at the table, face down, in a puddle of blood. That reminded Skanky of the scene with Hercules, and he could barely hold the food inside him, as he tried to push Garlic back up, expecting a terrible sight. But to Skanky's relief, the apothecary's face wasn't touched. It did have a horrible expression of fear and pain on it, however. As Skanky moved his sight down, he saw the reason for this expression (or at least, he thought it was the reason). There was a stiletto sticking out of the apothecary's gut... The shirt was open on the chest and in the skin there was etched the writing: "skim this".
Skanky stepped back, fighting the urge to throw up. He glanced over the table, and saw a mortar on it, right next to the edge. There was some white powder in it. Skanky wondered what it may have been, and was just about to bend over to investigate closer, when Jonny, who was so far standing right next to the body, suddenly got nervous, and stepped back abruptly to get away from the body, hit the table, and the mortar slipped off onto the floor and was shattered to pieces.
"What the hell do you think you are doing?" asked Skanky.
"I... I... Did you see? He's... He's missing the genitals too! I just saw and that's... Oh..."
With that, he turned away and produced his supper onto the carpet.
Skanky shook his head... He had noticed that there was no pestle in the mortar. He wondered where it may have been. So, he looked at the dead apothecary to see if he had it in his hand. But as the pub owner took a closer look, he realized that it couldn't have possibly been in the hand... The body was missing both hands...

Inspector in Apolyton Village is an even more deadly profession than drummer for Spinal Tap.
It appears we still have two separate Mafioso still operating with impunity--Jamski and Jon Miller. So sayeth the book of Zopperoni.
Jamski now. Jon Miller later. Though I don't trust that coke fiend Jonny either.
