GM COMMENTS:
The provinces are colored after a power has occupied them. This requires ending a Fall turn in a territory. The Colonial variant has some odd rules that force some home provinces not to be shaded the color of their country at the beginning. I know this is annoying, but using this mapping protocol is how it works best for me as a GM. I could color Akita dark green now that Japan has entered to territory, but I've not done so out of consistency. I'm sorry for this minor annoyance.
The 1892 (Fall) retreats are due on Sunday February 18, 11:59 pm EST. The 1892 (Winter) adjustments will be due Monday February 19, 11:59 pm EST. And speaking of maps and colors, I'll color the SC dots in Manchuria, Mongolia, and Angora when I revise the map for retreats.
One more thing. Hogfather is back, but due to sporadic computer and internet access has asked Napoleon to continue commanding China through the end of the month.
