Playing of turns when the Orders aren't complete Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

Earlier today, I had worked on my orders. I had gotten as far as 5 cities that would have their WF possible or needing to be changed. I had posted this in the turnthread:

Apolyton - starting WF 3-4-8-12-13-16.
Mingapulco - starting WF 3-6-5-6-9-10.
Chaquita - (grows this turn) starting WF 1-3-10-??13??. Change WF to
Karina - starting WF 1-4-11-13-17-19.
LuxInvicta - starting WF 1-3-5.
Big Bend - starting WF 1-3-4-8-10.
To be edited by MoI - If not listed, i.e. not as NO Change or as change to, then it is under reveiw.DO NOT IMPROVISE!!

Some of these cities needed WF changes and some didn;t. I would have had the orders posted earlier. Real Life issues kept me from getting things up fully. But they would have been up.

We have 24 hours to play our turn and the turn was played without full orders, within minutes of receiving it.

Didn;t we just have a thread stating that If the turn was received after a certain time, that we would play the following day?? The save was sent at 11:53PM EST. Arnelos and Trip were in the chatroom.

[Trip> after the FP is done we should be able to turn down the lux slider
[Trip> anyone out there?
[ZargonX> I'm here, for what it's worth
[Arnelos> in and out
[Trip> cool, I'm not alone
[Trip> I'm going to start the turn now
[Arnelos> ok
[Arnelos>
* Trip sets mode: +ns
[Kloreep> I'm in and out as well
[Trip> alright
[Trip> I'll just do a general summary of what I'm doing then

[Arnelos> you should have seen him *****ing about stuff earlier :sigh:
[Trip> about what?
[Trip> he omitted a WF order :P
[Trip> "Change WF to ."
[Arnelos> speaking of which, has the chatlog from the tripple chat gotten up yet? That's what E_T was *****ing he had to do that the Consuls should have done
[Arnelos> and quite frankly, about that, he is correct
[Arnelos> why the hell was the task of putting up the chatlog left to the MoI?
[Trip> my connection was kaputt
[Trip> I was the only one there
[Trip> no one else could post
[Trip> I had a huge hole due to being disconnected
[Trip> I asked someone from CFC to send me a log
[Trip> none was sent to me
[Trip> apparently it was sent to E_T instead
* Trip shrugs
[Arnelos> that's what I told him
[Arnelos> that you had connection issues and probably didn't have a full log
[Trip> I asked them to send me one
[Trip> and I wasn't sent one
[Trip> btw, I don't know if you saw our not, our Galley lost to the GCA one
* ZargonX has quit IRC (Quit: Outta here)
[Trip> turn sent
[Trip> report and screenshots posted

At no time in that chat did Trip Ask Arnelos about the orders, nor did they think to hold off playing the turn until later. What I had posted in the turnthread should have sent red flags up to anyone who was following them.

As for me, when I had gotten on line tonight, I had fully intended to finish these orders. But my DP had rented 2 movies and I was really needing to spend a little bit of time with him. I had figured, that it being so late, that the turn wouldn't have been played anyways.

Also, when I had come online, ther wasn't any indication as to the status of this very important 3 way chat. I had finally gotten onto CFC chatserver and gotten one of the CFC members to send me the chat. I then had gotten the log up (see FA Correspondences thread). I then when to relax for a while.

People, something needs to be done. We have already had threads about the times of turn play, which what then violated. We have spoken about playing turns without orders. We have time to play it. So, what is the rush! When things clearly aren't right, we need to stop game play and consult. We have lost the PoA because of this. Now we might also lose some of our carefully managed production, too.

I can't do it all. I do as much, if not more of what is asked of me. I'm currently at a loss as to how to next proceed. With a game this important, we don't need to be doing things half a$$ed!

E_T, fully admitted... you have a d**n good point about how the turn was played last night as soon as it arrived rather than following the guideline to wait on it until 3 p.m. tomorrow afternoon.

My apologies on that for not thinking of it when Trip went to go play the turn as soon as it came in. With both Trip and I online, I just didn't really think about it - we had the turn, why not play it then?

We're going to have to remember to follow that new guideline in the future... if the turn arrives around midnight Eastern time, we need to give some time for it to be looked at and things to be done before we rush to send it out the door at the first moment.

So yeah, we definately take the fall on this one. We just weren't thinking about it. So I hope this serves as good leason for us not to forget about this and repeat it in the future, both for your sake as well as each of ours, as well as the team's.

In chat Arne, MZ and I all agreed that there should be a window after the 3pm or 9pm deadline where the save could be played. I suggested 3 hours, and if my memory serves me correctly, that was what was decided upon. Arne then said he would post the updated plans in said thread. As I go back now to look at it, there was no mention of that particular clause. So it seems that an organizational SNAFU caused one of the problems with last turn.

When I went to play the save, the "To be edited by MoI - If not listed, i.e. not as NO Change or as change to, then it is under reveiw.DO NOT IMPROVISE!!" appeared very similar to other things I've seen before. Namely comments in the orders referring to "Schedule TBD" or "Under Review" or things along those lines - all referring to future turns. As you have been adamant recently about us sticking to your posted orders, I was under the impression that statement was referring to the orders that had already been posting (and not trying to alter WF for what appeared to be an optimum WF setting, despite what your orders may have said - this the "do not improvise" part). If it had said "it is under review for this turn" then I would have understood it better and would not have played the turn.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

I had aslo posted that if there was to be either:
1) and order for NC. Example: AP starting WF 2-3. NC.
meaning that there is to be no change
OR
2) an order for a change. Example AP starting WF 2-3. Change WF to 3-4.
Meaning is obvious.

Recently, because of my time constrants, I've had to post only the cities that needed to be changed, like in a few turnthreads.

So, in the future, there will be 1 either of 3 things present. Also, I should have posted that I still needed to look at a few things and that my orders where not complete.

In playing the turn, I had assumed - because I knew that you'd been short on time - that you wanted to roll up some of the cities into a single category and simplify the orders, which is how I interpreted the line in question.
