	Napoleonic Conquest PBEM Sign Up Thread. Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

There's one "going" at MZO assuming it ever makes it through the first turn. Mostly this scenario appears to be combat no Settlers or new cities.

I believe the playable civs are:

England (Alliance) - Computer
France - Computer

Austria - Rommel2D
Prussia - CerberusIV
Russia - GhengisFarb
Spain - Uber KruX
Ottoman Empire - Paddy the Scot

Sweden - Computer

There's also Sweden but it is recommended they are run by the AI. France and England are locked in war and can't make peace with one another. The others can choose sides or stay out of the conflict.

Ghengis - I always seem to jump in on your games but this is one of the Conquests scenarios I haven't actually tried so I would like to play.

Preferably Prussia but the Austrians or Russians would be fine for me.

Will you have all player positions taken before begining? or do you want some to be played by the AI? (other than Sweden) Will a human play France? I think this would be interesting.

Will Sweden be included. Even as an AI player, they can contribute.

all of the AI have to be in because there are victory points in every civ, and if there is no civ there, anyone can walk a unit over to them and get the VPs.

Like Uber said. I would like for the seven to be taken but any civ not taken should be left in to be played by the AI. Of course it would be interesting to leave the British and French to be the AI and the humans playing the "neutrals."

Went with first civ listed for Paddy. If we get someone for Spain and Austria we can have five neutrals and augment the balance of power between England and France.

OK, I'll have a look at it this evening. If Prussia does go first I will start the game and post confirming the turn order.

5 human players seeking to manipulate the balance of power between the main AI's! Should be interesting. I assume the basic idea is for a human player to try to win without any AI's being eliminated.

Yes, but that does not last long after a few general upgrades with Nationalism and Seapower etc.

Actually their units upgrade to better units with those. Ours just stay the same.

I have looked over the attributes of the French, British, Russian and Ottoman infantry units.

Each come in three tiers, and yes they are in the above order for attack, defense and movement.

Thanks for that, I had not looked over that set of stats before on this scenario

The turn order is

CerberusIV - Prussia
GhengisFarb - Russia
UberKrux - Spain
Paddy the Scot - Ottomans
Rommel2D - Austria

Don't complain about time zones or whatever - that is the order the civs come up in and I couldn't find a way to change it.

Accelerated production is ON
Cultural flipping is OFF

I also could not find any way to increase the AI aggression (the French are on max) so left that alone.

Jan 1800 turn to Ghengis

The Prussians have weak infantry, mediocre cavalry and are right on the front line with the annoyed French. This isn't going to be easy.

Techwise I started with Diplomacy and am researching Nationalism (5 turns). It would be a good idea if we all researched different techs where possible and then exchanged.

Everyone starts with Diplomacy. The British start with a the first Naval Tech and the French start with Nationalism. Did you try to trade for either of them, CerberusIV ?

No, I didn't really get too far into trying to trade for anything on the first turn. The French weren't amenable to anything and the naval tech doesn't seem too useful to me.

Having looked a bit further at the tech tree it seems the Prussians don't have the worst units after all - the Spanish do!
