Hey, lets get a friendly team game going.

Should be a change of pace for me to play against some more builder tendancy folks than just the GoW folks.

uh...random game, I'm open to all settings.

Map Size depends on the number of players. I imagine we'll want to go with small, perhaps even tiny. I'm fine with random on the other map settings; perhaps Temperate rather than Wet (probably favoring Ind) or Arid (probably favoring Agri).

Random or picked civs? I cringe at the thought of getting Russia or somesuch, but I could go with luck of draw.

Sounds good to me. I'm in. The American Imperialist internal PBEM I started at MZO has already pretty much died.

I vote for non-random civs, but it's fine if I'm out-voted.

I sure hope you aren't saying we should have a random map size though... With only 5, small might work better than standard, though either would be fine with me.

Actually I like both new traits but still have yet to even play the Dutch in an SP game. So it will be interesting trying them out.

BTW, may I suggest a pangaea map. I know the power of Zargon's Byzantine Dromons.

Hmm, if it is a small map , I might want to try the Sumerians, otherwise their neighbours the Babylonians.

You know, since we have commercial and seafaring in this game, we should probably go with 70% Continents.

Have you played the Byzantines yet? I'm just about through with my first time with them (AU502). Zargon was the first to finish the course so I know he knows the power of dromons, especially on an archipelago map.

Sounds like we have about all the members we're going to get for this PBEM...the three active Tabemonos and the two semi-active ones (which is what I am now since I still have yet to fully refamiliarize myself with what has been happening ). Five is a good number anyway, though six would be better. I say we go ahead and start the game.

That's nothing. I started on a gold hill by a river, and not only do I have four cattle myself, but I have ivory and silks right by me too.
