	Summary? Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Can someone give us lurkers a quick summary, please?

Here goes:


Militarily

We kicked GCA's ass but still technically at war due to GCA's refusal to sign peace with us. Last turn they landed an elite spear from a galley in a mountain in our territory.

Economy

We are currently in mass-REXing phase due to the successful conclusion of our war with GCA. We are also doing research with monetary assistance from CFC so we can crank out the techs faster.

Diplomacy

A summary of each team:

CFC: we are currently allied to them and doing shared tech research
CGN: we are currently VERY friendly to them however distance does not enable us to assist them in any practical way against GWT who they are at war with.
GCA: still at war, has relocated to GWT's land
GWT: we are all but in a cold war with them due to violations of each other's naval territory as well as their assistance to our enemy, GCA. They are currently preparing a massive offensive against CGN.

Who knocked out Firaxis?

CFC recovered, then? (they were losing a war last time I checked) Or are they just a token player now?

wow, you've been absent more than I thought.

Firaxis was knocked out by GWT, and the Grenouille by CGN.

CFC/CDG and GCA were at war before we intervened. CDG was destroyed and for a time it was only GCA vs CFC until we invaded. Since then we have established borders and made an alliance.

I have trouble reading the reports as they seem VERY informative, but rather boring to one who does not know what is all going on off the top of his head.

IIRC, the reports are a bit out of date. vondrack stopped maintaining them around turn 134. Individual turn results (plus some commentary, more often than not) since then are now in the turnthreads.

Well, GCA had the Great Library for a short time. At least until we came-a-knockin' and they razed the city.

The Forbidden Palace is completed this turn, and just finished our 40 turn research project of Invention. We have markets and Libs in key cities and can now support a desent deficit research effort on Education (from 6 to 10 turns, depending on % and hoe much cash we want to spend over the time of research). We have been discussing Rushing schemes, to help further our building efforts.

We are getting thing started towards the moving of the Palace to the old GCA area, which will give us 2 fantastic cores.

We are approaching our Renessance.... And hope to generate our GA after the REXing/Palace move are done.
