Someone made a spreadsheet that you can use to calculate stuff about your army. It was on the Planet Mars page.

I'm not allowed to attach Excel files, so I'm afraid you'll have to surf over there to check it out. I did one for Karakas . . . with the population reduced by 2 billion. I was still able to make a horrendously large army using only a few points.

I have a sneaking suspicion it was made solely to justify Menelmacar's god-modding.

I quite agree. When I fed Centralis into it as a Post-Modern nation with a military 1.0% of the population, I was able to afford having Excellent in every category except Space and Magic. When I fed it in as a Modern nation, I had too many points to know what to do with.
