Science poll 250BC Support Apolyton, buy GURPS/ Alpha Centauri

Currently we have the following techs:

Alphabet
Ceremonial Burial
Code of Laws
Literacy
Map Making
Monarchy
Mysticism
Philosophy
Republic
Writing

We got the free tech from Philosophy (), and are currently researching Bronze Working. I suggest, no demand , that we research Trade at the earliest possible opportunity, and start work on the Colossus when BW is finished. We will still need Currency and Trade before we can get camels, and we need to get caravels before we should think about leaving our island paradise, but which tech path should we follow? Would you prefer a more military approach (maybe including Monotheism so we can crush the AI with crooks?) or a more perfectionist approach with a decent SSC?

Difficult to decide. I think we need navigation as soon as possible because of the huts (we need to get a couple of free techs).

I'll try to be more definite tomorrow when I think it over.
