	mIRC login troubles Put an end to popups!

Hi all. I am unable to connect to the Apolyton server. I've added it correctly by the method described in the IRC FAQ, but every time I try I get this message:

I don't have any of these problems with any other server. There I can connect succesfully. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

I don't use mIRC sorry, so don't know how to fix this.
Seems to be and ident problem though, so maybe you need to register your nick again?

He can't even connect to the Apolyton server, so it's impossible to register his nick in the first place.

on connect, always get
[]Local info (tick that)
Look up method
0 Server (tick)

options -> connect -> Identd
[] Enable identd server (untick)

try that...I'm no expert on this but it used to happen to me a while ago...i *think* that's what fixes it

First of all it's better to have the Identd server enabled, as some servers will anyway require it. The IRCd used by ACS doesn't seem to require it enabled - worked for me enabled and disabled. Also you may notice it wasn't the problem in your case, GM, as the Identd request worked. The actual problem were the host address settings, which Method already addressed.

Well, it would help to see a pic how the settings have to be.

Btw, as far as I know, you have all earlier version of mIRC (the pic's I've seen so far indicate this). Could it be a version error?
