Some time back I had CivII - excellent game. Just recently I bought Civ CtP 1. However it was the budget version. All I get is the CD. CIV II had a fantastic chart for advances, units & land types - does CtP have anything similar and if so where can I get it from?

I am in th same boat. I wish to use this program in my class and would like to find a place where I can down load at least the Tech tree.

Unfortunately, while these things are readily available for CtP2, this is not true for CtP1.
We do have some fan-made things, like the All Stats PDF (http://apolyton.net/dir/index.php?i...its=4649&cat=36) and the All Stats XLS (http://apolyton.net/dir/index.php?i...its=4649&cat=36), and there's even something at least remotely resembling sort of a text-only tech tree (http://apolyton.net/ctp/features/poster.shtml), but none of those things compare to the tech chart that the game shipped with.
(There are a few other similar page and files as well, check the various sections of the CtP1 website (features, modificattion, callings), but it doesn't get much better than the stuff I linked to)
