Ottoman Empire EOG
Alas, I am finally gone...

What can I say. I went into the game with one single priority, establishing peace with Russia. The reason is simple: the Ottoman Empire cannot defend itself against Russia. The geography just doesn't allow it...

Promised peace by the russian, I started a plan of western expansion. Seeing Spain as my main enemy, I stabbed him already in the first year. Sadly, Russia stabbed me at the same time. Do not misunderstand, however. I actually expected this stab, but I also realized that if Russian went to war with me, I was lost, no matter what I did. I might as well carry on with my western expansion, and hope for the best.

Needless to say, my hopes were brutally killed, and after that all that remained was to prolong the inevitable defeat... In vain I tried to get Russia to see the Polish threat, and eventually I was driven all the way to western mediterranean.

Salutes to Russia, for a good tactical sense. Salutes to Poland, for an even better strategic sense. And my apologies to Spain, for the stab.

And we will meet again, people
