GM COMMENTS:

Well, the turn of the century sees the departure of the once grand Ottoman Empire, which has capitulated after 20 years of defending themselves on three fronts. Thanks to Black Dragon for playing out the position to the bitter end in spite of overwhelming odds.

The proposal to end the game in a three way draw between Japan, Holland, and France has been defeated. A unanimous vote is required for passage of a draw proposal. This particular proposal did not receive seven YES votes. From this point any and all proposals will require six YES votes, which is coincidentally the number of remaining active players.

The 1900 (Fall) retreats are due on Sunday March 18, 23:59 EST. The 1900 (Winter) adjustments will be due on Monday March 19, 23:59 EST. The 1902 (Spring) orders will be due Thursday March 22, 23:59 EST.
