This poll hereby gives the consuls authorization to loan a portion of Apolytonia's treasury to the nation of Netatolia for purposes of military assistance against GWT.

The exact terms of any agreement are to be worked out when discussed at greater length.

H_E: I would suggest 480-600 gold. This allows between 8 and 10 Musket upgrades, or 6 and 8 Knight upgrades. Since we currently have well over 600 gold (amount increasing at ~20 per turn with CFC's help) we would still have a fair buffer.

This poll only authorizes the consuls to seek a loan agreement. The terms (amount included in that ) would have to be approved as well.

Sounds good. We should probably start a discussion on how much money would be advisable and perhaps check with CGN on how much they'd be willing to take (and thus OWE US for...).

We only send it to them when we are sure the death blow is about to be felled by GWT. 16 Ansar parading around in the jungle is clearly not a real threat, despite the trouble CGN is having with them.

Only when I see GWT's true strength unveiled will I condone any money getting sent that way...

As for CGN, with it's "everymove must be decided and polled" democracy, we need them toi start polling on this, too. It would be a crime, if we allow this and we can't give it to them in time because of the Arthritic speed of their Government....

I seriously doubt they have 60 Ansar Warriors yet. I don't remember who gave out this number, but I agree with whomever said they probably have around 30, maybe 40, at this point.

Depends on where their priorities lie. If they dedicated max economy to Ansar then they could build 85 of them.

The point is that they must have a large concentration of them elsewhere. 19 is far too few.

I agree. I'm in favor of helping them with money, but my hope would be that our money buys us serious access to their decision-making process. I DO NOT want us to piss our money away by giving it to a team that's going to waste it.

Their acts/omissions in the run-up to this war, and during the whole Boston fiasco have not inspired confidence that our money will be used well if we leave it to them to decide how to use it.
