Please view the Diplomacy thread for more info on this, but in short, GS was approached by GoW/ND on a plan to invade Legoland.
This information must remain TOP SECRET
Clearly, this is all just being whispered about. There's no plans yet underway, but this may be an excellent chance for us to get back involved and get some of our old land back. Here's what I'm thinking:
If GoW/ND will give us horses, saltpeter, AND allow us to build cities along the deserted south-eastern shores that were once Spain, we volunteer for Conquistador duty in their war, and use our very devious UUs to wrek havoc on Legoland.
We get some needed revenge, get our GA, and rebuild parts of old Espania.
And we use those cities as a base for our FUTURE reconquista with GoW & GS against ND!

Frankly, there needs to be two more wars.
One to reduce Legoland
One that pits GoW vs ND to reduce them both.
It's going to be hard to pack both of those wars into one, but I do agree that if ND and GoW are overseas fighting Legoland, we may have a very small window.
We just have to realize that they can turn all of their reinforcements against us, and they can send their ships back home in a matter of 2-3 turns. We may land, raize a couple of useless cities and then, once again, face the full wrath of ND/GoW combined against us. Only problem would be that if we backstabbed them and lost, we would never have another shot at fighting them again.
Perhaps a betrayal of ND could happen once Legoland is fully in ruins, so that even if our invasion of ND fails, at least one of our rivals was reduced ... and we could hope that GoW would try an invasion later in the game.
However I think I'm against allying with Legoland. Legoland cannot be allowed to continue it's massive and impressive development. Their nation is absolutely unwilling to help us in any of our future conflicts. GoW, however, very well would be and we're going to need that to get back at ND later in the game.

I agree, Legoland must be dealt with, they are too powerful, and any invasion must occur before they get rails.
After that we can work with GoW and GS to attack ND. Most of our assistance will be in the form of pillaging.
An attack of ND at the start of any war with Lego isa bad idea, since GoW may stay allied with ND, in which case we would be in a bit of trouble.

When the last Egyptian forces left the Bobian soil, I considered that this was my last chance for survival and left with them.
The journey over what was for me the Mare Iberia was an easy one. As a young boy, being a squire of Lord Toledo, I sometimes went to the sea in the summer or secretly during Easter. I liked to look at the crests and from the cliffs I could be watching the waves beating the rocks for hours. But that time has long passed, though still the little joy of watching it has remained during all those years. Even then on that ship, being an old, retired man, I was standing at the bow and looking down to the waves beating againts the wooden bow.
Life among the soldiers was for me no problem. During the years of mobilization I had almost forgotten that there was a world outside the barracks. After my revolt against the King, my noble status was taken from me and I was enlisted in the army by royal edict. Since then I have spend all my years among the soldiers. Many a friend I have seen dying on the battlefield.
But I was spared, time after time, even when my entire regiment was slaughtered - yes, I saw it with my own eyes, there was no mercy in those devils, even the wounded were not spared when they hid away, only me. These people sought to drink blood; I believe they were sent by Satan himself - I was spared, by hiding behind some rocks. The only place I thought safe for my wounded body.
And so these soldiers respected me and they were eager to hear my tales of the many battles I fought since that revolt.
Thus I managed to cross the Mare Iberia with pretty much ease and I arrived as healthy as one could normally wish after a a voyage over sea. And Monsoon was after all a nice city. Because I didn't know where to go and the soldiers still appreciated my company, I went with them, on the journey to Eye of Storm, as they described, a center of civilization, where science and architecture where well developped, perhaps the most beautiful city in the world. At least a city to be proud of.
I suppose that you expect that a journey of such a length and through mountains and desert is hard to complete for a man of my age, but it went allright, though of course very slow, but the soldiers, who desired nothing else than a peaceful life after the horrors of the Bobian War, did not complain, they were rather satisfied and enjoyed the peace.
We have passed through the most idyllic villages with the most beautiful names one could wish to pass though. The first one only a few miles from Monsoon: Wind-in-the-Fields. Built in the typical white and light yellow style of most Egyptian villages and cities on a slightly higher place than the surrounding fields and from there going further downhill
The road had here become more like a sandy path that swayed like a river through the village as if each house were a rock in its course.
There was also a brook swaying though it, the road crossed it just beside the mill, where the local inn was situated. Apart from the strange style the buildings were built in, it was a scene I was very well accustomed to.
[I will continue later]

It seems liek this can be the moment of our national revival... For SPAIN! Let us retake the Homeland! No matter if GoW, GS, the Pope or the Aliens want us to respect GoW, we want our land back from them, from ND, revenge from them both and from Lego! We owe a lot to our great friends at GS... but they canīt ask us to give up the dream of returning to our beloved land, to our grassy hills, to those gentle plains, to those imposing mountains... to the holy ground were our ancestor all died, died fighting for their dream... of a united and undivisable Spain. Of a land that is ours, of a land that is holy... of a temple to the Spaniardsīs bravery!
