A-cubed, what is it??
It's the position on the team, that could be the best one of all. It has the potenial to be the most influential position on our whole team!!!
How can that be, you ask?? Well, one aspect of A-cubed, would be able to govern the flow of general and specific Information to the team.
A-cubed would be something for everyone and many things for all. It will be a steady voice in the babble of our various government functions and threads.

A-cubed is to be the Administrative Assistant of team Apolyton (Apolyton Administrative Assistant or A-cubed).
One of the main duties and expections of the person(s) that fill this position, is to provide their Apolyton Upload space for public savefile storage (or an offsite FTP space), so that any team member can download the savefile, at any time. The person will be sent the save (we'll get you added to the e-mail list) and they will post links to the save, so that any of your fellow team members can download it at any time (seeing that the consuls aren't able to do this simple task). They will do this in a timely manner, after we receive the save.
Other things that I would like to see handled by this position:
Summerizing chat topics (game related) for public consumption and debate
Posting of specialized threads, for specific debate, especially when touched on in chat
Helping to keep this forum organized with providing links to topic threads/posts, so that we can quickly find pertinant items.
And anything else that you can think of
Why do we need this position??
Well, for one, the Consuls can't keep the simple promice of posting the save, when we receive it, so that important things can be properly discussed, especially when the best source for those discussion IS the save.
Another is, for members of this team to be as active as they can best be, with all of their various reasons, they need to have Information, in forms that is quick and easy access and readable in a timely manner.
As with all Democraties, Information is key to it's success. You keep the Flow available, you get a health team, that can rise to any occasion and determine the best action available.
So, is anyone interested?? The A-cubed awaits!!

We have limited upload space here on Apolyton which we are fast gobbling up with screenshots of each turn. A far better solution would be to organize an e-mail distribution list so that everyone gets the save to begin with.
When people have requested to be e-mailed the save, we have done so, because that's easy to do and doesn't take more of our already dwindling upload space.
Anyone who wants to be sent the save, please PM me with your e-mail address. I'll volunteer to make up a list and send it to the other Consuls as well. We'll keep tabs on who to send the save to and make sure someone e-mails it out each turn.
Because we've been using all of our upload space for screenshots, we simply don't have very much of it left. I know that Trip even RAN OUT of upload space... I know I'm getting close.

I'm the one currently doing this and I can verify that doing it is an absolute b*tch, but really only because I have to do that, and write the turn report, and start several discussion threads, and get to bed on time to get up for whatever I'm doing the next day... This is really something that anyone can do at any time and I've noticed that the Consuls (in my opinion), including not simply myself, have not done a bad job of this. In fact, since this used to be far more of a trouble area than it currently is (it's hardly been a trouble recently... is there really a major issue that HASN'T had its own thread in the past month or so?), I'd say there's even been significant improvement in this area.
We don't need an actual POSITION for this. This is the job of any conscientious member of the team who wants to start a discussion thread about a topic whenever they want to start it. The Consuls have also gone out of their way to start such discussions on our own as well. I have absolutely no idea what E_T is whining about.
