EDIT : NEWSFLASH - DISASTER - THE IRON HAS GONE FROM OUR CONTINENT. THE RNG IS A MONKEY! I noticed at the end of the move while tinkering with the WF in Sil/Swind and seeing about a possible sword in 2 turns in Swindon.
I'll hold the save in case you are around later, Arrian.
"For CoD, the war is over".
Python send 132g
Izz builds worker
Cos builds Library
Burundy builds settler
Ciao builds spearman
Plymouth builds galley
Southern warrior is dead. Dam! Frumpy is alive but redlined. No barb galley to be seen. How could that have happened, when it was FOUR tiles from the barb galley?

Can't find war plan on the plan thread, but there was one on the T95 thread.
quote:
T98: Python reaches Swindon12. New galley from Plymouth moves 232. 12 warriors upgrade to swords in SF (480g). Sword complete in Silesia(?), or warrior upgraded in Silesia. Shuffle spears down by SF to shield SF1 from Monkeyvision.
|
from the Plan thread :
quote:
T98: Settler complete in Burundy, moves414. Spearman from Ciao moves to BC. 3 of the Swindon4 road, the other mines.
|
With Python a turn away from Sw-12, I expect the warriors can wait another turn before upgrading.
Frumpy will have to heal somewhere. Can't go into SF, because that is Pythons in two turns.
So Frumpy has to go to Plymouth and spend 2 turns there and won't heal until T101.
As they say : "The Barbarians always have a say in your plans..."

Izz set to +5f +8s, order barracks (plan thread)
Burundy +2f, +7s , grows to 5 next tyrn - orders another settler.
CoS uses taxman (slider down to 10%), +7spt, orders Worker
{edit - had temple first before realising it should be a worker}

Ok, we're not necessarily dead. Who knows, maybe Python will decide they don't want to kill us? In their shoes, I would actually try and take on Monkey alone (with whatever help CoD can provide).
I was thinking longer-term, though. Even if we survive, without iron, our continent is in BIG trouble. No knights. No pikes. No rails...
For now, we work with what we've got. New composition of galley landing force: 3 spears, 1 horse. We pillage like mad.
Our chariots should be recalled and upgraded... oh, no! I just remembered, the trade wasn't iron for horses... they were seperate, so our horses are still being sent to Python. DAMN.
So we can't even upgrade our chariots yet.
