In Jewish Nicosia, we have a bunch of immigrants lying around, why don't we disband an immigrant and then finish rushing a destroyer. Then on the next turn disband an immigrant to finish a transport. This will double our transport capacity for only 25 gold and two immigrants we can't get to Israel anyways. Also, move the worker in Jewish Nicosia to a more food productive square while we are rushing these two units,

I will look into this. BUT after the initial slug of immigrants is transported we only get one per turn. So two destroyers and two transports for for immigrant escort and transport may wind up being overkill. Ill run the numbers vs transit time on my next turn and tell you what I find.

I do agree however on improving the tiles around Jewish Nicosia while we are waiting for transport. A busy Jew is a happy Jew

Production change requests in the Home Sector
Ein Gev: Change to Training Camp. we need to heal our units there in one turn, not invest in more troops there IMO. If possible please rush after at least one shield has been gathered for production, do not pay full price for it.

Beth Shean: change to AA gun, in case Jordanians begin sending planes at us, a Palmach and machine gun are plenty to stop troop attacks at the moment

Nazereth: change to Hagana Unit, use cheap units to defend rearward cities.

Haifa: ANYTHING BUT TRAINING CAMP. We have World War 2 Training wonder of the world, all units built are veterans already!!! Training camps are only useful to heal units in one turn! (Jewish Nicosia should also not be building a Training camp for this same reason.) Me personally I'd suggest a Palmach that could make it to the Golan quickly

Unlike Combat operations, Public Works has few intangibles and can easily be plotted several months into the future. Here's how i might plan it out if I was extremely bored and decided to do it.

The Current Work Force
-3 in Israeli proper
-1 in Soutern Israel behind enemy lines.
-3 in Nicosia

For the moment we can ignore those in Nicosia because with the current shipping schedule, they will not be landing in Haifa until March 1949 barring any difficulties.

I'm also going to ignore the Zion Worker South of Hebron because it is so distant and the fact that it is behind enemy lines makes any transfer to other duties is utter folly and a waste IMO.

This leaves us 3 Zion Workers (one of which will be used by Central Front until the end of October, it becomes available again in november.

Here's what I reccommend for Zion Worker use for October and beyond.

October 1948:
Two zion workers are available for railroading. Worker now south of Tantura moves North of city and begins railroad. The worker now north of Akko moves to the same square as worker one and finishes the railroad in one turn. This second worker will use 1 and 4/5 of it's movement to get there, just enough to allow us to complete the RR section in October.

Tel-Aviv to Haifa: 5/5 of 1 movement point (finishes turn in Haifa with no movement left. A unit mving south will stop on a railroad section, not a city
Tel-Aviv to Tiberias: 2 and 4/5 movement points
Tel-Aviv to Jenin: 2 and 3/5 movement points

Palmach in Netanyah (City size 6 including two tax collectors) finishes Palmach. I reccommend switching to Zion Worker (Would take 5 turns)

November 1948:
The zion worker involved building a fortress outside Jenin is available again. He begins building RR south of Akko
The Worker pair moves one space along the road and completes another RR segment.
Tel-Aviv to Haifa: 4/5 movementpoint
Tel-Aviv to Tiberias: 2 and 3/5 movement points
Tel-Aviv to Jenin: 2 and 2/5 movement points

Rush Zion Worker in Natanyah for 72 Gold

December 1948:
Worker pair completes another segment of RR towards Haifa.
Worker South of Akko finishes his RR segment
New Worker begins RR segment North of worker pair
Tel-Aviv to Haifa: 3/5 movement points
Tel Aviv to Tiberias: 2 and 1/5 movement points
Tel Aviv to Jenin:2 and 1/5 movement points

January 1949:
Read the map for details.
Tel-Aviv to Haifa: 0 movement points
Tel-Aviv to Tiberias: 1 and 4/5 movement point
Tel-Aviv to Jenin: 1 and 4/5 movement point

February 1949:
Tel-Aviv to Tiberias: 1 and 2/5 movement points
Tel-Aviv to Jenin: 1 and 2/5 movement points

March 1949:
only 1 zion worker needed.
Tel-Aviv to Tiberias: 1 movement point
TelAviv to Jenin: 1 and 1/5 movement point

In March we will have 3 zionworkers ready that have done previous work and (hopefully) 3 new zion workers that will arrive by boat. While it is possible that we could use all 6 to cut the movement rate to Tiberias from Haifa to a measly 2/5 of a movement point, this would bring our workers under the guns of the Palestinians in Safed and any Jordanian planes that may attempt to kill our workers. By this time Rasputin and Yaroslav will be in need of railroads towards their fronts. The seventh worker will be retained with the Central Frontto support a possible advance against Nablus in May after the Jenin attack force has recuperated.


This has just been me ranting and proposing a plan that would do a great deal to benefit both myself and the Golan Front, don't take this as a set plan and please don't get mad at me for assigning away your work force, I needed to relax after my final this morning and opened up the save to poke around and find a way to amuse myself. I swear.

Good on defense and even better offensively as well as mobile. They really are worth it compared to Machine guns for the extra sheilds.

BTW are you drinking in the pub with Paddy right now? Your typing is worse than mine (hard to believe) which leads me to believe you and he are tipping a few brews

OK got it, Ill make sure we have a nearby good build and recommend that Arthedain rush it.

We got the random 3000 this turn I believe so it shouldn't be a problem.

Brisbane is a ways north is it not? If I remember my Aussie Geography?

DEFENSE IMMIGRATION REPORT

Immigrants build Palmachs in Yemeni Freedom, Haifa, Akko N aand Tel Aviv. They build a transport in Jewish Nicosia.

One Immigrant Left in Haifa, and two headed south. The one in TelAviv was flown in this turn.

Rush the Palmach in Ashod (just north of Gaza)

Rush City walls in Nevatim F (We are still making that a bunker correct?)

Rush Palmach in Mettullah N

Rush Palmach in Sedom J

All of Rasputins, Stalin II's, Htowers requests are satisfied with these rushes. But the Palmach stays in Nazareth, leave the machine guns there and move the Palmach forward when its built.

Any other Palmach rushes, especially in the SE and NE are appreciated. they will get the leats amount of benefit from Immigrants.

The veteran producing wonder is good, but unfortunately you dont get the one turn heal benefit from it.
