There was very little in the way of requests. People will have to be much more specific they want anything rush bought for their fronts in their future.

On the other hand, it means I don't have to disapoint. With only 381 gold thanks to the COS's illegal purchases of T-34's, there was not much money to go around. I was tempted to buy some city defenses in Gaza and Gesher, but refrained. Unless we get some overseas donations, money will be tight, and I kept the 381 funds intact to act for more urgent situations that could arise next turn.

Suggestions and ponderings:
Change Eilat production next turn to AA instead of Palmach.
Perhaps change one of the Palmach producing cities in the interior to produce artillery, I saw a lot of Palmach producing cities.

The following units will be very useful for SE front:

A zionist worker (top priority)
A Irgun unit in any of the Jerusalem cities - or other good defeding unit - I don't mind - the cheapest one.

If possible, an arty in Sedon and a Irgun in Kfar Etzion.

again rushed defenders needed for sinai captured towns of el arish and beersheeba... Rushing the defenders in nearby towns is of course fins, i wil lsimply then move them to the new towns.

alos another spitfire needed on the front. I using one out east , one along cost would be handy.

Further to complete my goals i would need more t-34s. Current allotment is slowing down attacks.

Again i happy to wait if other areas are undergoing major attacks. But the defneders are critical we must hold the new conquests.

Also as i get closer to egypt aloong coast. a Patrol boat of some sorts to protect my coastal areas would be handy...

Finally we are in desperate need of workers to build the railways to conenct the citys to speed up moving my defenders around.

Status of Home Front to Economy and Defense Ministries

However, Arab reinforcements seem to be moving into the Jenin and I have no forces mobile enough to prevent them from reaching the city, I'm going to place a request for a T-34 to patrol the Jordan and for cleanup operations since the Palestinians between Jenin and the Jordan have been running wild for months without me being able to do anything. I think I will also need another WW2 artillery if we want the city to fall quickly, and I'd like to request more Zion workers, as my advance is taking me beyond the reach of my supply lines. Perhaps some our economy may rush a couple of zion workers in the smaller towns, in Petach Tikva and Tantura. None of these requests are urgent, so don't yell at me if I look like I'm asking too much.

Bah, just a reiteration of last months request.

Preliminary budget for December, 1948.

In case I have delays setting up, here is what I intend to buy. This was hard to predict since I don't know where the immigrants will be used, so I didn't rush anything from cities in immigrant range.

Also, this is spending spree because we got money, don't expect me to be so generous in the future.
This spending plan will leave us with 1666 in the bank. As Jews, should we care that the mark of the beast has appeared in my budget?


And as for the request for Zion workers, perhaps we should airlift a kibbutznick from Yemen, or load them up from Cyprus? It seems to me a waste to buy them when we have so many of these units overseas. Aside from that, I have no say in their deployment.

Buy from overseas:
2 T-34's to be deployed where the COS sees fit
1 WWII artillery for Yaro - though deployment up to COS.
Spitifires are still out of the question unless the COS requests another one. If you are having air attacks, I suggest AA.

City buys: I did not rush anything yet, but here is what I have in mind if I can't play myself.

Eilat-S: Rush Palmach
West Jerusalem: Rush Palmach (Suggest East Jerusalem change from machine guns to palmach, only one extra turn. But I won't rush it.)
Gaza-S: Change from city defenses to palmach or something, and I'll rush it. Otherwise, only if Gaza production does not change, rush Palmach at Ashod, and may I suggest moving the Palmach you have garrisoned there, as well as the one you have in Gaza! What are they looking for, squirrels?
Net-zaim-S: Rush palmach
Kfar Etzion-J : Will support Irgun if Defense changes production.
Sedom-J: Will support WWI arty if Defense changes.
Kfar-Szold-N: Support AA gun. Also, perhaps we should build a barracks in Mishmar Yarden-N? Just a suggestion, don't do it because I said so, and I haven't included that in the budget.



I authorize the PM to follow these requests if it's my turn and he considers that I am late. Hopefully, I can get internet online in Israel, and thus have a better appreaciation of the needs of our nation.

Ok we have that destroyer up north that has been running security duty for the immigrant transfer from Jewish Nicosia.

We can probably get away with a gunboat up there because I haven't seen any seaborne threats between Haifa and Jewish Nicosia.

If the COS wants to give you OPCON over the destroyer for a couple of turns, I believe we can handle it.

All I ask is when you attack to eliminate the gunboat threat make sure its close to one of our cities so the destroyer can retreat and heal and not be subject to counterattack.

We may also want to consider another destroyer, but that takes sheilds away from producing land forces which we are obviously stil in need of if we want to continue pushing the offensive.
