	Other Games HOF Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

In another site that I visit they keep a Hall of fame and list all the winners of their contests. The thread is locked and the mod posts all the winners.

I was wondering if people would like that sort of thing here JUST for the Other games forums. I would be happy to administer it if people express a good interest something. So all you gladiator, nuk, mafia and racing fans can maybe get more than your 10 seconds of fame. Yes, you too be brag about your nearly insignificatant wins for a virtual eternity.

So let me know what you think.

And suggest your ideas for a name for the thread. I'll be the judge and select the best name.

Using Hall of Fame might confuse people from the other Apolyton HOF.

It sounds like its a HOF for games we play in Other Games (such as the ones Rah mentioned) so we don't really get a chance to nominate ourselves. If we win, we win.

Personally, I'm all for the idea. I have wanted to see the history of winners from the games I participated in (but was too lazy to collate this data myself).

I'm not sure I understand, but I'm all for bragging about myself .

I play mostly rpg's. Can there be a HOF for a rpg? There isn't exactly any kind of scorekeeping.

Well, I was the winner of the first Mafia game (as the mafia), and the founder of Nuclear War and Gladiators. Is THAT the sort of stuff you want in your HOF?

You have a group of people in the village. One person (two in these latest games) is chosen to be the mafia in secret, and they kill one of the villagers each night. Then during the day all villagers (including the mafia) vote for who they think the mafia is. The one with the most votes gets killed, then it is night again.

The game ends when the mafia is dead or all the villagers are dead.

I think in mafia it should only be the Mafia winners ( when they win ) who are listed. For surviving villagers if they win it can be just luck and chance.

For those that grumble about the games overshadowing the PC games discussions, they're looking at it wrong. The games are attracting more traffic to this forum. The result is that a lot of those people are participating in the PC games discussions. I know I am, where I didn't before. And looking at the posters, others are doing it too. A highly trafficed forum is better for all. And there is not that many games going on.

Sounds like a good idea... I already had a winners list for the Nuclear War games (The ones moderated by me), but I don't have access to that list anymore, since the file is on my server, which is dead
