Sorry about the abscence - I just got out of hospital. I'm happy Walek took over - I was planning to turn this game over to him I just was running out of time. My cocktail of blood pressure drugs caused some really serious heart arrythmia, and I managed to get to the hospital before I went into ventricular fibrillation (it scared the sh*t out of my wife when they had to restart me). They've changed my drugs, and I seem to be OK. I am taking it very easy. My little girl loves having daddy home.

Actually it sort of caught my doctor and me by surprise, my family has zero history of arryhmia, the men die of massive myocardial infarctions. But no single or even two drugs could get my BP where they wanted it (rest of 170/105 - I've had measured spikes of 192/108 gives you killer headaches) so we ended up with three different drugs. I have a naturally high pulse rate to begin with all my life - 115 to 120.
I'd started some problems about a month ago and made an appoitment to see my doctor later that week. Didn't make the full week. However, no permanent damage, I got to the ER and they listened to my pulse, which was at 180 at that point and pounding, and so they decided to put me to the front of the line, so to speak. They were just hooking me up and calling my doctor when I went into ventricular fibrillation. The new mix of drugs seems to work fine, but they kept me in the hospital for a little longer than I thought.
