	Notice of upcoming absense Support Apolyton

FYI - I will be on vacation in Colorado (no internet, no civ) all next week (21st - 28th).

Bad timing, eh? Just when things are getting REALLY interesting.

Anyway, I've tried to get city orders/worker orders set so we have some sort of plan going forward. The rest, I leave to your judgement, Cort (and MS, to the extent you're around).

Hopefully Python will decide whether or not to proceed with the war in the next couple of days, so we will have worked that out before I leave.

Thankee, sir. I just hope the incoming snow/sleet/freezing rain storm doesn't screw up my departure. It's supposed to start tonight. We fly out of New Jersey tomorrow around noon.

I sent short notes to MZ and Con telling them I'm away.

I didn't copy them to the logs...they just didn't seem worthy.

Hopefully the war will kick off right about when I return. Speaking of which, you may want to talk to Octavian about having a chat or at least direct PM exchanges with Dave, who seems to have been not only the catalyst for the war, but is also their military planner.

Me & Nicky (gf) are just jumping in the car and driving free for a few days - probably wiggle through East Anglia then head north up the east coast, perhaps crossing the Pennines to the Cumbrian mountains.

I tend to dislike trips where everything happens according to some preset itinerary.

I have to post this quickly. I'll be away for the rest of this week AND next week. I'm not allowed near a computer as apunishment for something, and I do not know what I did. Honest. I may be able to sneak a few peeks at what is going on in the demo games, but nothing more. Gotta go, my dads coming down the corridor

I have returned. Instead of flying to Ohio to see my brother & family, I ended up driving. Why? Because American Airlines called me at 5:30am on Friday (3 hrs before the scheduled departure of my flight) to inform me it had been cancelled due to some mysterious mechanical problem. So, instead of waiting for a 2pm flight to Chicago and a connection back to Cleveland (**** that!), I drove. Result: exhausted yesterday, took the day off, hung out with the dog & did errands.

Hope I didn't miss too much.

I'm back, (and played the save). Not the greatest of journeys - on the sleeper train to Edinburgh there was a screaming baby in the next berth yelling for hours - bad news. On the day-train on the way back an elderly gentleman who did not speak English was sitting in my reserved seat, and the train company didn't give me printed confirmation of my reservation, so I couldn't proove it, and was not keen on turfing a frail old man out of the seat anyway.
