	Composite “uber-mod” For Civ Iii: Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

Would it be at all possible for some of the more erudite Apolyton community members (who are au fait with the modding process) to assemble a truly composite Civ III (original version please) “uber-mod” from the plethora of available mods appearing on the various Civ III webpages --- especially those that add new content to the game such as extra buildings, units and/or resources in order to create an even more epic and memorable game?

For example, I am aware of two mods (The Ancient Mediterranean MOD appearing on the Apolyton Mod page and the Double Your Pleasure (DYP) MOD which has its own dedicated webpage) which each appear to add a considerable amount of new material to the existing game. Several of the other mods appearing on the Apolyton Mod page (e.g. The Space Race MOD; Civ3 Fascist Patch; Copper, Nickel and Zinc Resources; Airbases; Civ3 – Unit Mania – 40 plus extra Units; MonsterMan’s MOD; ModEX) also appear to hold much promise. These are no doubt a small number of the total number of potentially available mods

Therefore, would it be at all possible for some of the modding experts to work in active collaboration with the developers of these various mods in order to create a suitably balanced “uber-MOD” for Civ III? [In addition, by employing other appropriate mods, might it be possible to implement some of the more interesting changes requested in the Civ IV forum?]. Hopefully there are some fans out there with both the time and the expertise to try to develop this “uber-MOD” which might be able to function as an additional Civ III expansion pack. [Maybe it might be possible to obtain some form of official endorsement and/or assistance from Firaxis for this project?].

I would be really interested to hear whether this is a viable idea that can be readily implemented to the advantage of the entire Civ III community.
