VOTE DUDDHA
I have a four piece platform
Glory to Apolyton and Death to Her Enemies
I was an advocate of every single successful military campaign in Apolytonian history.(all that I was active for) When all others doubted the Glory of Apolyton and would have us cower instead of fight, I argued for war and victory! It is now, in our moment of weakness, that Apolyton needs a glorious warrior leader to lead our Viking Beserkers into battle and slay our enemies. By placing His Dudeness at the front of our advancing armies our enemies will cower in fear and be chopped to bits like the vermin they are. No matter where our President sends our forces or whatever he desires of his people, His Dudeness will follow. As Vice President, I, Duddha will advocate, as I have always, what is needed for Apolyton to achieve its Glory and destroy her enemies.
The Virtues of Monarchy
Recently the DIA(Democratic Industrialists of Apolyton) have risen from the grave and threaten to rebuild Apolyton in their image. These pig dogs must be stopped! As an elder of the DG, let me speak frankly when I say that the DIA is nothing but a thorn in Glorious history of Apolyton. Beware, in the past the DIA has advocated “democratic” ideals, abolishing slavery, republican revolution, “peace”, and “scientific” progress. The DIA amounts to a cult of radical heathen unpatriotic bourgeoisie peacenik revolutionaries! It is no secret that I am running for the precise purpose of crushing Nimitz, a member of the DIA, in his bid for the VP. They are a threat to Apolyton’s Glory!
Let me speak now about those ideas counter to the DIA that we must pursue. It is important, now in our moment of weakness and arbitrary despotic rule, we pursue those ideals that have made Apolyton victorious in the past. I will refer to these ideals as the Virtues of Monarchy. I, like all Banana fearing Apolytonians, know that true authority does not come from the unruly “democratic” masses, as those who espouse “reason” would have us think, but from the only true authority of the mighty Banana. We must all yield to the Banana’s chosen King and follow his laws and dictates if we hope to one day ascend to Valhalla. Thor is only a disciple of the one true god, the Banana. Praise to the Banana. In keeping with the Banana’s holy plan we must create a Monarchy. If this is done, Apolyton, with the blessing of the Banana, will attain Glory. As Vice President, I, Duddha will advocate the attainment of the Virtues of Monarchy and Glory.
Iron
Apolyton is currently in a weak state, surrounded by three fierce enemies and lacking a source of iron. If we are to slay our enemies, we must have unfettered access a source of iron. As Vice President, I, Duddha will advocate the settling of the southern continent and mining of its iron. For the Future and Glory of Apolyton!
Neo-Hawkism
Apolyton’s current weakness steams from more than our meekness, lack of Banana appointed King, and lack of iron. Apolytonians do not take part in her Glory. This apathy exists because we have forgotten the philosophy of the ancient Hawk party. Parties increased board activity. Therefore, we must return to the teachings of the oldest (and therefore best) party in DG partisan history. As Vice President, I, Duddha will create the Über-Düder Institüt for the purpose of creating a Neo-Hawk philosophy based on the teachings of wise ancients, to reinvigorate Apolyton. The Über-Düder Institüt will also become a place for us to formulate and promote plans, orders, and strategies before the Senate Session (turn chat) takes place.
Vote Duddha and vote for Glory to Apolyton and Death to Our Enemies, the Virtues of Monarchy, Iron, and Neo-Hawkism!
Don’t let those foreigners eat your baby, eat their babies!

Yes it is true I and the DIA support “democratic” ideals, “peace”, and “scientific” progress, but these ideals are not as bad as dudda would believe, these ideals will lead our nation into the future. Dudda would have you have no say in how the nation is lead, and with that would send all your sons to die on the fields of battle abandoned whether there was need or not, will only send us to war if in the best intreasts of the people. As for scientific progress he would have you beleive it is an evil that will be the end to our glorious nation, I would put it to you it is the oppsite it will save our nation. I have seen what tech can do in other nations, so has dudda but he would rather leave you sitting in cold huts with just would fires to help instead of improving your lot. So I would agree with most of his points save the last the DIA will bring Apolyton to glory!!!!

I must disagree we must go to the gov that will be most efficiant at that time wether it be Monarchy or the republic to force us into a gov so that you can fufill your lust for war would be wrong. We should only go to monarchy if war is a must if not the republic is only right, for the public should be able to infullance the gov to help them. As V.P. I will lead them to gov they need and want.

Here we agree once again apolyton must have iron if only so we can defend ourselves, a weak military does us no good wether weak in numbers or tech. But Iron is good for more then just war it will help us at home as well and that it must if apolyton is to move forward.
So vote Nimitz for a bright future for apolyton, a good infurstructure for the nation, and better lives for all.

Just two notes:
1. We will not have any government change in the coming ~10 turns (except the others drop their prices and I'm able to trade for it. But currently they want too much.)
2. We DO have iron - as VP you should pay more attention to the map and the recent chats. How do you think we have swordsmen? However, I agree we will need more iron.

yes, the state of iron in our land confused me. I was confused by the fact that only one city in our land as iron. So let me revise my platform here instead of editing my last post.
Iron and Horses
Our current supply of iron is limited, with only one source and only serving one city. In preperation for the coming wars we must expand access to the existing source of iron and settle the southern continent(can we think of a cooler name for this land mass, like Duderland j/k ) to cgain access to more supplies. In our southern wave of expansion we must also gain access to the wild horses that live there. By securing our supply of iron and horses we shall pave the way for a future army of knights.

When Nimitz speaks of "scientific" progress, he does not mean improving the lives of our people. He means to direct them towards heathen devil worshiping and to silence our mighty Viking warrior traditions in the name of peace. Science is the work of devils and the only peace I know of is that which will come once all our enemies have been destroyed.

Nimitz would betray the word of the mighty Banana and lead our nation towards doom. The people know that a Kingdom is the choosen path of the Banana and their voices will be heard.

I would never dare to try and fill the shoes of great Jonny the Conqueror or Ormuzd the Wise. A public elected figure should have opinions on matters of war, it is their duty. However, you will notice my statement said very little, if nothing about logistics, tactics, or specific strategies, for decision making in that realm lies specificly with the SMC. As a Neo-Hawk, I take great pride in discussing matters of warmaking, and you should expect no less from me as VP. On the flip side, if a peacenik Nimitz is elected, we will have a VP that abondons our brave boys in uniform; averts his vision as if they never existed, and spits on their patriotism. NO. This can not be so. VOTE DUDDHA!

You do know Jonny is one of us "peacenik" builders.
And in reasponce to what you said, yes I may not like having to go to war but I know that some times it is a neccecity and when it is I will pursue it to completion and will never abandon our troops. Futher I would pursue to the fullest the complete destruction of any who would dare start a war with us. You on the other hand seen to pursue war with an unending lust and would lead us blindly into one war after another, even if it would be foolhearty and lead to great hurts to us. A nation can not be lead in this way, so if you wish wise and carefull choosing of our wars to lead us to greatness, VOTE NIMITZ making the future bright for Apolyton!!!
