oh, i've missed some discussion here... sorry.

i've still got the 2950bc save at 1.15... smellymummy and i would have to redo our turns...

but switching versions is no problem, i used to do it 1.02-1.12, then 1.12-1.13 (beta) and now for quite a while 1.15-1.18...

1.20 only sucks for multiplaying (but there badly!).

what shall we do?

btw: the darn AI is using radar towers

i over-coloured the borders so you can't see which AI it is... and the yellow circle (handdrawn) shows the tower.

it's using radar tower because the game started with 1.18 biq rules, where all civs knew radio and radar towers

the problem is, because i had upgraded to 1.18, then went back to 1.15. unfortunatly, i forgot i still had the 1.18 conquests.biq. it seems, some thing got taken from 1.15 (like radar towers coming with radio) and some from 1.18 (radio tech free from the beginning).

but the AI is only on monarch, so it shouldn't be a too big problem

oh, dialup, how bitter
you could use a download manager so you don't always have to start from the beginning when you lose the connection. i use mozilla (not really a download manager, but i can resume well), but iirc most people use "getright".

fortunatly 1.22 is "only" 9 MB....
