Minor WW1 powers Get a bigger avatar today!

Anyone have good links to see the uniforms of some of the minor WW1 powers? I would like to finish my WW1 in Europe scenerio and I find the new units fairline has made fantastic, but I also would like to have Serbian, Bulgarian, Belgian and Rumanian forces, but the only such units I have seen come from Alex, which is a very different style.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

I have some Osprey plates of Balkan armies. Are you making them or have you made Fairline an offer he can't refuse?

If you want some scans, PM me your email and a detailed list.

I was going to ask for the plates, but to fairline.

Excellent work as always!
Thanks so much.

Indeed! Have the same book?

Since I have the book open, here's a shot of a Romanian wearing a 'gas mask'. It's gray wool impregnated with sodium thiosulphate. That's incredibly foul smelling. These armies weren't the richest, and uniforms were often augmented by civilian gear.

Btw, my scanner seems to have a 'Send to Fairline' button on it.

The 'gas masks' the entente first used were basically chamical-soaked hoods as well. Just about better than being gassed I suppose.

Does the book explain why the mask appears to have oversized flaps for the soldiers ears? Did they double as elephant gas masks or something?

Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

The masks are quite mental looking - Must be that whack WW1 humour!
