	Who should be able to post at the UN? Tired of ads?

Here goes - all of the options we have been presented with in the overlong thread on revising our diplomatic system at the UN. If 1. or 3. is chosen then we need to poll again on who the rep(s) shall be. If 4. is chosen we need to establish a code of conduct with some more discussion.

As we are not at the stage of an official 'Yea vs Nay' poll as detailed in the Con, the results of this are not official, but to be used to map out the precise rule we want to introduce for such a poll. Thus I don't feel the need to write out a long clear statement on what this poll is exactly doing either - besides, it should be rather obvious to most

How should posting at the UN be restricted?

1. Only the UN rep(s) (as decided in a later poll) can post at all at the UN
2. All can post at the UN. No restrictions to any threads/issues for sufficiently motivated team members.
3. Anyone can post at the UN but only the offical rep(s) can claim to speak officially for the team or in certain threads/on certain issues.
4. Anyone can post anywhere at the UN, but a code of conduct shall be decided upon that all Poly members must adhere to in their postings. For violation of this code, something may need to be discussed as punishment (eg a ban of all their posting at the UN)
5. Abstain

I think option #3 provides for some sort of control by the Consuls but allows a channel for members of team to be heard at the UN.

It can be made extremely obvious that a person is either posting in an official manner or is not.

Definitely 4. This gives freedom of speech to everyone who has something to say at the UN, but limits the tone in which they do so that we avoid the embarrasing incidents which have happened in the past. It is not prohibite at all, simply forces ALL of us to maintain a standard of decency in our public behavior.

Punishment should be a permanent ban from posting at the UN, and done via a poll.

As #4 (the code) can easily include #3 (specification of threads to be handled by the Consuls or an elected/appointed UN Representative), I'd also think #4 is the way to go.

#4 but the only restriction I want to see is it clearly stated in the post when the post is an individual's opinion and not our team's official position.
