T103 - 510 bc Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

I got the turn and decided to open it and have a look.

I don't think there is any opportunity to do the emergency shortrush in Ciao. WF can be moved for an extra food next turn.

Burundy needs a WF shuffle for +5fpt, I believe.

Izz needs the same.

New city on the west coast can be built... I forget what we were going to name it.

Stooges can connect our 2nd silks and we can give Python silks, which I'd like to do.

The BC3 can road Badcrumble1.

Settler at Izz3 to Swindon8.

...

Both of Monkey's frontier towns are toast. Python has finished the road through the jungle, but their workers are still stuck there for another turn.

I haven't made any unit moves that would push back the Fog of War yet.

My inclination is to send 6 horse, 1 sword, 1 spear and the settler to Silkfest 44. The spear at SF1 can move to SF11. The spear at Corinth11 can move 1. Depending on what he sees, we can decide what to do with the warriors. FP should probably just sentry where he is for now. The galleys sail south, obviously... in fact, since that's already sure, I'm going to move them now and see what we see...

Ok, our 2 galleys are now at Siamang 666. Nothing of note sighted.

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Hmm, what to do with Izz103 (new worker)?

I think he needs to go mine/road hills around Swindon. Having looked at Swindon/Silesia, I don't think my Forbidden Palace plan works at all. For some reason, I thought Silesia produced 11spt, NET. It doesn't. I produces 11spt, GROSS, with -1 to waste, for exactly 10spt. We can't do WF shuffling ot grab extra shields for Swindon like I wanted to.

What Swindon needs is another mined hill.

We might do this: The worker at Swindon2 will finish his road in 4 turns. Swindon grows to size6 in 4 turns as well. It currently has 20s in the box, and is producing 8spt net. In 4 turns it will grow, gaining 1spt extra at that point, for 9spt net.

Size6 on T107, Temple complete on T108 (a temple should allow us to sustain Swindon at size7). If we move Izz103 to join Sw100 at Swindon2, the mine at Swindon2 should complete around T113. The city hits size7 on T114. It can then be set up for +2fpt, +12spt (net - I've checked that it loses only 1spt to waste when bringing in 13spt gross. Once we get it to 14spt gross, it loses an additional shield, for 12spt net).

T109 - 6f, 9s.
T110 - 9f, 18s.
T111 - 12f, 27s.
T112 - 15f, 36s.
T113 - 18f, 45s. Shuffle WF for +2fpt, +12spt.
T114 - Size7, 57-58s. Depends on autoallocation. +2fpt, +12spt.
T115 - 2f, 69-70s
T116 - 4f, 81-82s
T117 - 6f, 93-94s.
T118 - 8f, 105-106s.
T119 - 10f, 117-118s.
T120 - 12f, 129-130s.
T121 - 14f, 141-142s.
T122 - 16f, 153-154s.
T123 - 18f, 165-166s.
T124 - 20f, 177-178s.
T125 - 22f, 189-190s.
T126 - 24f, FP complete.

Yeah, I like that.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

So Izz103 moves to Swindon9. Swindon switched to Temple.

Frustrated Poet ordered to Sentry.

Western coast city built and named New Plymouth.

6 horse, 1 sword, 1 settler moved to Silkfest 44. Monkey warrior (regular) sighted on ruins of Mandril. I'm pondering moving the spear in SF to join our stack, and moving a spear from Corinth to SF4, to replace that garrison.

Spear at Corinth 11 moved 1, nothing new seen.

Spear from Silkfest moves to SF44.

Spear and regular archer from Corinth move to SF4.

Pondering what to do with the vet warriors at Cor12 and Cor22.

Full PM-box? Change here!

Polytheism in 1 turn, -2gpt. Can't lower slider.

Badcrumble switched to granary.
New Plymouth set to galley. Rush next turn?
Worker actions done (Stooges and BC3 all road).
Silks and WM sent accepted to Python.
Vet warriors near Silesia move north, across the river.

Left to decide: vet warriors near Corinth, spear at SF1.

Suffering from ads?

Spear in New Plymouth moves 2. Forgot about him - don't need him up north, but there may be 16 barb horse coming up from the south at any time.

Spear at SF1 moves 2. Sights nothing.

3 warriors at Corinth44 move 1. Sight Python regular warrior at Corinth44411.

I decide to move Frustrated Poet 1. Nothing new sighted.

Warriors at Cor12 and Cor22 move to Cor112.

Turn complete, unless you disagree with the stuff that's changeable (giving silks to Python, any of the WF changes, and any of the military moves that don't effect the FoW, such as moves within our territory).

The stomach SUCKS. The week was pretty good, up until Thursday, when the stomach problems began. Still, on the whole it was good. I like skiing.

Thanks for asking.

I'll be back in ~20 minutes. I'm going to pick up dinner. Haven't eaten all day, and now I'm going to try some Chinese food.

Yes, I am aware that sounds dumb, given my stomach condition. I don't care. GROG WANT SESAME CHICKEN!

Yes to everything It'll be good to get the silks to Python.

Sorry, should have managed to get the 5-warr stack over the river last turn. Roll on Engineering. Are they heading west via BC then south, or maybe hanging around the core hoping some Iron will show up?

We might want a couple to hang out on our east coast, just in case. One or two west towards BC, yes.

I moved them due north so we can decide that later.

I can send the save, though I hope my email server doesn't do what it did before and take 2 days to get it to Tabemono.

Got spare money?

You can always upload the save to 'poly and link to it in the public turn thread if there's a problem with the email.

- they could get to Pri-Cent996 or 999 in two turns, but Orangutan-3 is nearer the action.

Ah, a week of skiing. Fun, isn't it?

It was really nice skiing on nice snow all the time, instead of how it is out here in New England (often icy/slushy/otherwise crappy).

Cort - I forget exactly where wanted to drop them... I thought it was PC96 (mountain, east of their ivory supply), but I'll have a look at a map.

Ok, I've looked at the map again and I think our two best choices are:

1) Primate Central 96 on Turn106

2) Orangutan 3 on Turn105.

The first option places us near their capital, directly adjacent to their lone luxury supply. It does, however, take an additional turn.

Orangutan3 is faster, and offers the ability to immediately move/pillage on T106 if the grassland tile to the west isn't blocked. It is also somewhat more vulnerable, being a hill and not a mountain, but that's not a big deal considering we have 3 spearmen along for the ride.

Currently I remain in favor of PC96. I'd like to get deep into their core, and force them to either:

a) use numidians they need to defend Orangutan with (against the advancing Pythonian horde) to block or even attack/destroy our pillaging group; or

b) allow us to rip up their tile improvements so they can use their numidians to defend their northern core.
