	What should be the purpose of the rest of this game? Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

Personally I think that if the Hive-Drones declare war now, that we stand no chance to win at all. So an in-game victory can then no longer be the goal of this ACDG. I was therefore wondering, what do people see what should be our goal for the rest of the game if we face a Hive-Drone declaration of war? Survive as long as possible in-game, roleplay by giving war reports presenting Hive-Drones as evil agressors, or something else?

If it turns out we can't win, then I'd use Laz's tactic, try to destroy the planet. There are many last gasp efforts, such as nerve gas from 'copters, Planet Busters, raising the sea, etc. that would at least be fun. Also, a well placed PB or two may be enough to swing a war our way. Build 4 or 5, maybe with crawlers quickly, then hit their major bases.

If all else fails, die trying, but I'm not ready to go yet. We have a chance, a good chance, due to distance. If they try to attack, sea level rise, nerve gas, etc. Just take them out as much as possible.

I think we still have a desent chance, oure superior Credit Production along with the MCC can make us a very tricky oponent even against the combined might of the Hive and Drones. What we do in the next Decade will be of critical importance.

Yes as we finns say "Sisulla siitä selvitään" "If we are persistent enough, well do it". Surrendering or giving up is not an option. As Impaler and Drogue said we have capabilities to form a strong defence and in the end even threaten them with using WMDs in the name of surviving.

I agree with Drogue et al - as long as we're still alive, we have a chance to do something, and even if we're doomed to failure, we might as well try. Even if we're doomed to failure, all that means is that we have nothing to lose.

If we're doomed, I volunteer to 'defect' to the Hive and destabilise all their polls, vehemently disagree with everything they do that is productive and get elected to as many positions as I can so I can try to halt CPU's decline.
