You forgot 'terminate' and 'eliminate', but the intent is clear

I suppose war and survival are more interesting topics then boring politics.

A trick in the future? Shorten the timing of polls, that way more members might be persuaded to look more offen to the forum.

Actualy I am some what hesitant to eliminate Peace entirly. We gain almost nothing infastucturaly and their members will then be free to join other Factions which could EASILY push the Hive (presumably the place most members would go) into outright war with us. Seems best for PEACE to remain isolated and impotent (and having scurvy) then to risk the political upheval that would result from total elimination.

Frankly, I don't think any of the other factions need any pushing to go to war with us at this point in time. Strange really. In a 3 way fight, it always makes more sense for the weaker teams to gang up on the stronger ones. Even together, the CC and PUT are no match for either the Hive or the Drones. Especially considering their common border, and the inability in this game of going for co-op, I would have thought they'd be duking it out by now.

Going from experience in the Civ3 ISDG, I believe that the better way would be for PEACE to go. If we could get the Hive to obliterate the last of them, then we have less of a problem of their former members being angry only at us. If we leave them as they are, they are a faction with a vote that will hold a grudge against us forever regardless. If every active PEACE member joined the Hive they MIGHT influence things, but I doubt it. It's a certain vote against us in everything and a hostile faction or a diluted faction, with one less negative vote.
