	URGENT: Declare war on the Hive? Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

I was playing a bit more with the turn, and as according to GeoModder's orders I sent the probe skimship south, discovering an Angel sea former. Roze contacted me, and asked if I was willing to join her war against the Hive. Big problem of course. However if I recall correctly it is allowed to have parallel turns to test out AI diplomacy - though I don't know certain anymore at all what is allowed, after Googlie's last post in the "PEACE has cheated" thread. Anyway, presuming a parall turn is allowed, I chose the option to go to war, and saved the game directly after that, with the idea of starting this poll. If the majority votes against war, I can reload the previous midturn save, or someone else can continue playing from that point, if I understand the "parallel turns for AI diplomacy" rules well.

The choice here is:

a) Go to war with the Hive. After doing that, Roze was pleased and after me unsuccesfully asking for her map, she closed the commlink without further demands.

b) Refuse to go to war. GeoModder parallel turn tests for Angel diplomacy show though that in this case she'll probably ask for Ethical Calculus, and if we refuse, she'll declare war on us.

Please vote as soon as possible. We don't have much time.

Would we have anything to gain from declaring war first - would it give us a military advantage as opposed to letting them declare against us as they seem to be planning. Unless we can use this declaration to our advantage, I say no.

A war with the Angels concerns me too. After all, a 3-front war (with the Hive joining in) won't be a very satisfactory outcome either.

For me, it seems better to avoid war with Hive and Angels this turn. My longer term idea is to pact with Angels in case Hive does declare war on us. Our troop movements this turn keep our ships more or less out of reach of the Hive and surviving PEACE vessels, but are in reach to eliminate them if war is declared.

Against War with the Hive

Give the Angels Ethical Calculus, their just a stupid AI they probly wont even change to Democracy! If anything it may just cause them to reserch better tecnologies that we can steal at a latter date.

Sorry guys, we lost credits in the transaction. Rose was a bit undecided if she wanted tech or credits, even if I thought I found the amount of credits we had to use ourselves to 'persuade' Rose asking for a tech.
